My guess this thing needs about 4x more control authority in the pitch and roll axis and about 8x more control authority in the yaw axis to be viable.

These guys would corner an entirely new market on top of this one if they would also design drones like this with a seat and controls underneath where a "person" can fly themselves. Everyone keeps shoving themselves in a very small box by constantly competing to create electric powered drones that can fly father than the electric drones created by their competition when they could be creating drones that are much more affordable and more powerful than their competition, leading to "people" finally having the ability to achieve things they themselves couldn't do before and explore places they couldn't physically go to before. It's great that they're breaking out of the box with this, but it could be only the start if they would allow themselves the freedom to dream bigger. The market for person flight drones as vehicles is the new Billionaire maker.... 444*

Has Parallel flight technologies got a working prototype of the hybrid system? It seems to me your primary IP was in that hybrid system (of which I have seen many fail). Heavy lift all-electric aircraft are not all that unique. What was your reasoning for building your own flight control/GCS versus using any of the current industry leading systems (Arducopter/px4/auterion/piccolo)?
