I honestly appreciate your good efforts but prometheus has no hope to be fixed. Its a beatiful film, but it makes no sense and the black goo is cheap and lazy... I prefer the mistery behind the creature´s origin.

I liked Prometheus and Covenant, I don't get all the hate for them. It was great to see something new, both aesthetically great, great visuals, great sound, great tone. I'm just disappointed that Ridley Scott isn't making follow up, I really wanted to see what happened to the colonists and David. My only complaint is that they still don't explain how that ship got on the planet at the start of Alien.

Honestly I wish we got an X-Men Evolution sequel seeing them grow up and becoming adults and dealing with the things W&TXM, X-Men 92/97 with the friends of Humanity, William Stryker the Evangelist, politics, Sentinels and Genosha and Krakoa.

I disagree, I would say X-Men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men were pretty accurate to the comics as well while merging it with elements of Ultimate, FoX-Men and various eras of the 616 comics while showing how the dynamics grow, the team change, etc X-Men Evo did a fantastic job in depicting Scott, Bobby, Logan,Jean, Kitty, Kurt and Ororo (although she was a mentor) while having them grow and mature and be revealed to the public that hates and fears them.

Good to see you back, Tyson. There is not enough esoteric X-men examinations out there. And yes, 100%, I am convinced Star Trek and the X-men are inherently connected. Like Siamese twins separated at birth. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the first season of the original series had an episode all about a psychic kid named Charlie X. I;m thinking Fontana was reading comics.

damn for less than 2k subs you've got incredible video quality and editing. I will say star trek has started to course correct- strange new worlds, Picard s3 and prodigy are some of the best trek in ages. prodigy was shockingly good. Delta quadrant aliens learning to work together and understanding the principles of the federation felt like what gene would love. On X-Men excellent close reading if the series. I can't get over how good the series is.

I'm older so I grew up on TAS and back issued Claremont comics and at the time current jim lee x-men run. I've waited 27 years for this show and the real x-men to get screen time. We clearly are similar in age as we grew up on the same things. Thank you for putting this out. It is exactly how I feel

wait weren't the engineers created from the Decans as seen in the carvings in the ship, they were made because they were million year old creatures that stopped being able to reproduce so they created the engineers to be like Carbon life forms to drink the blood from the first shots of the movies that re write their DNA to create new life forms. That then later two factions broke out after the extintion of the Decans, one faction wanting to destroy the creations and the other that wanted to protect it. There is a ton of different information, ive yet to read the comics to see if anything pops up in them.

Not only is this guy's deep revelation totally obvious, he takes it in the complete wrong direction. He says the engineer decides to destroy humanity because we creates AI, but they were already going to destroy us (we all know about that abandoned plotline that would have explained why) I like this guy's presentation, and would've subscribed, but because of how misleading and clickbaity the title is, I won't bother now

I spent two years in therapy and even more years hating the shit out her, but finally have made some peace and don't waste brainpower on her anymore. Meanwhile, 5 years later and you're putting all this energy into an epic troll to fuck with Danika? Now? I loved the work you two did back then (even the Prometheus video), but bro that was 5+ years ago! No matter how shitty a breakup, it is fully time to move on to better things. Most of the comments on this video don't even get the joke... if you clearly have production skills, why waste the talent and emotional energy just to dunk on her? Her content has clearly gone downhill (bummer), so do you need to prove anything about that time with her? Maybe you hated that video but that was definitely the best era of CBG19 and Robot. Leave the beef in the past where it belongs. Hope to see something awesome from you soon, because you've got a lot of talent.

Nvidia is a large company that is "wasting" time and money on AI without really thinking about the effects of that. It's CEO is in the megalomaniac archetype and a major asshole to boot! The warning is understood, but if AI is what the warning is about, we are probably too late. Once the $$$$'s drove the nonsense of the chip shortage and crypto-scams of 2020 and 2021 it was over. What happened next? Yes, AI has taken hold of Nvidia, AMD, Intel and other major chipmakers. I don't think Prometheus is nearly as neat as the video portrays but there are quite interesting ideas buried amidst the stupidity of most of the characters and the sheer beauty of that movie. AI has been a major part of science fiction for decades and the warnings from 2001 A Space Odyssey to now have been there! It is interesting.

I liked it too. I've watched it multiple times. There's a cut scene reel video on YT that is great! I like Prometheus better than Alien 3 or 4. Guy Pierce? Charlize Theron? David Fassbinder? C'mon!

i fucking love prometheus. maybe it doesnt actually give you everything you want but the ideas it brings up and questions it leaves you with are the most exciting things to think about. it would be my favourite movie of all time if they included most of the things they took out.

I think the true meaning of Prometheus is hubris, plain and simple, but not that of the human characters, Weiland, the engineers, or whatever other slop got thrown on the wall in this "film." It is about the hubris of an aging director, who believes his current solo ideas are far better than the collaborative efforts of decades ago. It goes further that the director believes his "vision" can completely erase, upend, and make forgotten the further collaborative works of an entire host of creators. From other films, to novels, and especially the plethora of well done comic series, this director and his writer decide they can wipe away he creative works of others with a mere handwave. It would take the team up of Ridley Scott and his hubris plus an utter hack like Damon Lindelof, who can't stick a landing when even getting out of bed, to try and erase 40 years worth of creative investment that repeatedly challenged out out did the original films greatness. The true revelation here is that this hubris made terrible what could have been an original sci-fi story in an attempt to staple it to a legendary series in order to try and make a few extra bucks instead of what the original Alien did by blazing its own unique path into the history books, as well as the hearts and minds of fans. Also don't huff your own farts quite so much Scott and Lindelof, if all you do consume is your own past flatulence then all you will put out from that point is shite.

I'm surprised they never made an Aliens movie where Weyland/Yutani bring the face crawler seed back to earth and mate it with different species of earth. The Bear morph the Lion morph the Gorilla morph etc. and let the fun begin.

Prometheus is a take on the Sumerian tablets and the Annunaki. Also Scott done explained the "Vision of the gods" where these creator gods can literally see the "aura" of living beings. The sleeping engineer instantly saw David was a dead soulless entity and destroyed it and it's creator Weyland.
