What’s the longest you’ve had to stay out with Od
well traded
What you doing on here could you explain it for the slow people
I pushed a bunch of buttons😂
I didn't realize you could hear patrick wieland in the back ground he was up 100k, and he couldn't exit his position.
Nice vid. Does OD have good health insurance plan?
Nice vid! But bruh...where ya gloves @famz? 😮
Meek mill beat in the background so tuff 🙏🏾 I need them to call me back I got 5plus years experience and all my endorsements
What time does and Old Dominion driver start and what time does he usually finish everyday??
Is that frightliner a manual or automatic?
Mainly all manual trucks
It’s so slow at my terminal line haul slow city drivers only working 40 hours a week
Ey, I like your vibe man. Are you still working for OD is the Chicago area ? Help a brother out. I got my class A CLP today. I was offered the driver training program 2 years ago but passed on it due to other commitments. I want to get on now. Thank you.
Bro you still drive for OD?
Quit October 2019
@@kris1987ful who are you driving for now bro?
haha the coins when he closes the door
I always see those double OD tractors leaving like 10 pm. I see that they are all trucks with day cabs. you leave, reach the objective and return that same night? is it like a dedicated route?? My regards, brother
Does Old Dominion have heat,, air conditioning,Radio stereo? Anyone anyone
Ayeeeee Nice video. What equipment you use to film?
Do the trucks come with radios so you can at least listen to music? Cameras facing you? Heat, air conditioner,? old dominion Freight Lines
You're all dispensable guys, don't think your company gives a shit about any of you, as soon as they can they'll get a Johnny Cab to do your job - no health cover, no super, no nothing...it's not personal, it's just business - and you're on your own
Dude where is the commentary about driving for old dominion??? I heard loud music but nothing about old dominion as a linehaul driver!!!!
You still work for OD?
No sir. Quit in 2019
No sir
@@kris1987ful really, was there any reason why? i'm gonna interview with them
This gave me so much insight is the line haul
hey I got one question are you from Texas
Zoom zooms and wham whams lol 😂. I like that, it's what I'm gonna start calling my "nick-naks".
How strict are they with a mvc?
How many hours you work in a day
It's based on your run. That's was a 10hr run. 5 there a 5 back. So about 11 hrs all together. Hooking up 30min break then unhooking and fuel.
Awesome video bro! I’m with RL but I like OD and wanted to ask do linehaul drivers actually make 100k a year I seen it on their job listing or is that just for teams? Also is it dedicated runs or OTR? Thanks in advance great video!
They do I was with Estes making over 100k as a line haul driver
With time you can make $100k plus at OD, FedEx, Estes, UPS Brown, and T Force. Starting you will make between $80 to $85K.
Yo… you got weekend off?
So you get to go home everyday? How long is your break at home is it exactly 10 hours or you get 13ish ? I’d like to do this bro , but hoping I get 13 instead of 10 sharp like my previous job , had time for nothing . What’s the name of your position
What are the trucks governed at? How many average miles per night? Average hours per night? Do you use your reset every night? Is it dedicated line haul?
64mph home every night but you don't get a set run until about 2 years. All runs are between 400 to 630 miles per night. Some tiny terminals run over the road but not many
@@kris1987fulthey definitely go faster then 64mph i get passed by old dominion all day long in the south and northeast and i do 68mph..
Do you know if they got any locations in dallas im probably gonna move there and i wanna go to OD linehaul currently running FXF p/d out in LA
so basically all you do is meet another driver, switch trailers & head back?
Yes. That's all
My dad works a this company also and I told him that when I grow up I want to work at this company
What is the beat you play in the background? My son loves it!
Meek millz dream chasers intro
That was efficient and informative. Thanks bro.
Thanks bro! Much love for creating all this feedback!!!
Kid can't properly dress right. Do they not teach professionalism anymore?
Where fuck you see a kid at. I driver comfortable
So are you home daily?
Yes
Spent 20 years working for od.They was a good company.
I dont wanna sound ignorant, but what's a zuzu/wamwam
How is it driving the 10 speeds?
Easy
Man I’m glad I found your videos I’m currently in CDL school and a HR rep for OD came to our orientation and told the class after we passed school we would qualify for driving immediately because the yard is backed up with trailers and they don’t have enough drivers drivers enough drivers. Do you think we still would have to work the docs for a few months or go straight into their training program?
you still working at od got interview for line haul never hauled doubles before it it hard to set them up and everthing
Did you get the linehaul job with them? If so, how is it? Making good money?
I'm from Arlington..Was stationed in Abilene in the 80's. Know that piece of I20 like the back of my hand!
Can u listen to music or listen to the news on your phone while u drive? And are the cameras facing the driver?
Yes you can listen to whatever you. No cameras facing driver and only cut when you slam on breaks really hard
When u are on extra board are u on call?
i was out of the university campus terminal in Norfolk VA, when i drove for them 😸
You spent more time setting up cameras than what it would have taken to do the flip.
I've been with Conway/XPO logistics for 28 years.Applied at od a few weeks ago, went to a job fair in Atlanta yesterday. The guy that interviewed me said things looked good and would likely get a call next week.Im scared to leave and start over .
Stating over can be the best thing to do alot of times
how'd it go im a Dockworker at XPO just got my CDL and got a job at OD seems like such a better work environment
This company wasn't for me, thought it was gonna be different, It pays good just needed full time, the location i was at had part time dock worker, heard the drivers make over 100k, anyway just wanted to say hope your saving it with a 100k job you could get into a finical advisor and grow that about 7 percent a year with index funds, save for tomorrow retire RICH
This might be the guy that blew past me on interstate 76 last year in the rain AND fog, going downhill. Just joshin' ya
