It's been a while since an update, and since we took a vacation, I have time while it's raining. When I get home, I will do short videos on the chicken coop and how I use the Apple home kit and the barn.

Kid is building this with some challenges. Part 1 was helpful for him. Do you have part 2?
sorry to say no this is one of the kits that got destroyed during our move to Florida.
have you seen this video? ua-cam.com/video/H0uDos8wgl0/v-deo.html
@@TheGeorge65 thank you for replying we did find another video and completed the build. It was a fun time with my sun. The most difficult part for us was how these strings shall be installed. The manual was very unclear on that.
If you a car detailing maniac then this makes sense. Most microfiber leave micro scratches. I think that Apple product would be perfect for infotainment and piano black elements inside the car which are scratched very easily...
Do you know how I can close the can opener? It's open fully and can't get it closed?
I do not, sorry. I am not even sure where this is anymore it is not one of my goto tools.
Today is my birthday and I got the clock for as a gift. It looks intimidating but I'm happy to see its an easier build. Thanks for your review.
Happy birthday! did the Build go OK?
Too much big , a tool like this needs a pouch to be carried.
I use magnets and keep it on the overhead rack of my jeep
Watching in June, 2024. I just checked Apple’s website and they said in order to wash their cloth there’s 3 steps 1) Hand-wash the polishing cloth with dish soap and water 2) Rinse thoroughly 3) Allow the polishing cloth to air dry for at least 24 hours I’m going to buy it for my Tesla’s infotainment screen cause I like using great products
Thanks for the information!
Great video :) And being someone who have been interested in HiFi for most of my life (owning sevaral pairs of floorstanding speakers, amplifiers and so on), I gotta agree with you about the Bose sounding more "compressed", so I would choose the Sono myself :)
Dood that took sum cajonaze I've had a beard for 40 years
Your place is amazing property I have family in Stuart and Sarasota Coral gables Lakeland and Melbourne also my name is George so I figured I'd have to check ✅ your channel out brother
Very cool! lots of work has been done, which is why I have not posted in. awhile. but I have videos to up load soon.
we need an update 😂
Working on it. I am on vacation so I have time. But trying to get the property fixed up is taking lots of time and effort. drainage is the worst of the problems.
I'm doing the same clock half way through having fun with it so far
That clock is still one of my favorite pieces. and it survived the move from Oklahoma to Florida
You can also use the wire crimper on the back of the pliers as a wire crimper 😂
Just bought this as a treat to myself, feels amazing and the thing is a beast , eternal pencil also a good treat. Mighty fine video there sir, just what I needed when I needed it .. Nice to know there's some decent old folks still around you guys make me so happy
Can you paint them
Yes, you can, but I don't think my paint skills are up to it. Maybe when my son-in-law moves closer, I can get him to paint them.
Links to items would’ve been great
So I tried to do that, but it's not like I don't give enough information for people to find what I am talking about.
@@TheGeorge65 You did and your video was good, but lazys like me rather have links to click than open new window to type and all that hard work.

I've found that the hole in wire cutters is very useful for stripping wires. You might like the Volty Switch from PCPoodle, which is a micro-multimeter made to fit into the bit driver. The ARC has the best toolset, I love it!
I never thought of that use. I will try that next time I am using them.
I remember that face...looks good!
Nooooooooooo. Put it back on.
going to keep it off for a while I thnk.
The handle probably has to be plastic, can you imagine how heavy it would be if it where some sort of metal?
Newbie here, looking for real life advice. Mine should be able to cut barbed wire more than once. Have a reasonable saw. The knife should be able to feather stick. A good pair of scissors would also be useful. Can and bottle opener. Don't necessarily need screwdrivers. Focused on bushcraft. I could use some advice, and thanks in advance! Greets, TW.
I would not use my Leatherman to cut barbed wire. The is the right tool for every job and the leather does a good job of doing a lot of the, but when I am running the fence line looking for breaks I carry lineman pliers to make that job so much easier. The cutter on the leather is meant for much smaller gauge wire. When they say wire they are meaning electrical wire for the most part.
@@TheGeorge65 : thank you, appreciate it 👍
"Grivatis"? Where's the "v" in the name?
I bought cutter replacements on Ali Express.
Got a link?
Hey, you’re supposed to teach you’re not teaching you’re like Superman I don’t think I would see your video
Teach? what am I supposed to be teaching?
Anything roughly same size as the bose that sounds better w better bass?
I have a Sonos Roam that I use when I travel.. it is very good for the size. actually little smaller then the Bose
Awesome video! Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this. Spotted it on Amazon and was very intrigued as it looked steampunky. Thought it would be a wonderful gift for my daughter, the listing was a bit misleading. It stated no batteries required and showed the winding of the knob on the lower left. I thought it was hand wound like my grandfather clock and all the gears were set to keep all the parts in sync. A little disappointed it is just a show piece, still beautiful though. Could have been so much more amazing.

oh lord I can't imagine
I believe its metric not imperial therefor not 1/4" - living in Europe my European metric bits fit perfectly
You would think I would remember that as I married a British lady. Thanks for the update
Being British we use both metric and imperial - just like daylight saving time it does get very confusing in the UK 🙂
Had to buy my own arc Christmas gift. it arrives tomorrow😂👍🏻
Enjoy I use mine almost every day
When I was building pole barns (as a general contractor, they were not my main thing) I'd set the 4 corners first, and then once they were solid/concrete set, the next day usually, I'd set the poles in between, bracing horizontally the length and width of the building off of the 4 solid corners. This worked out great rather than having all of them being braced but not solid yet.
where's the re-rod?
its in the footers.
where are you at?.....you must have some lax building and electrical codes there@@TheGeorge65
And we are using micro fiber concrete! Great stuff
That is a pretty nice for a crapola $9 knife.
It is. It’s our go to kitchen knife now
Thanks for the review!
ended up getting the Zapwizard holster with custom belt clip and was wondering how one accesses the bits without removing the holster if it's attached to your belt or some other attachment point
Simply u don’t. If I have to change the driver I take it off change it when I am done with the job I put the holster back on. Glad I got the custom belt clip one.
nice
Nice, great review cheers
I need to Show Steven this

You can slide the whistle out which also comes with fire stick 😅
your right I did not put that in the video, I did discover that after the fact. it did not help with the whistle.
I slid the whistle out and trust me, it didn't work well at all.
@@TheGeorge65 Mine just isn't fixed well, falls out whenever I take out the tool, so I'll probably lose it pretty soon 😄
How far can this trebuchet deliver a projectile?
I have thrown things about 25 to 30 feet depending on the weight I am using
Yea never could get mine to work
Just got mine and the only issue I have is the whistle sucks. The plastic case isn't an issue. The blade was sharp and cut through the box with ease.😊
This whistle slides out of the knife
This thing reminds me of those "Survival Tool" cards that everyone sold several years back. They have a 5" measuring tool on one side with a bottle opener and door jamb outline in the middle. The most useful tool on the one you got is the wood saw.
I would be afraid of breaking it with any use what so ever
wassup
crappy tools
Gorgeous!
I don't carry Chinese knives. Especially for the price of that Tactica, could do better. That thing sounded squeaky every time you opened it too. Kershaw makes some nice US made knives, but obviously the price point is higher. Worth it to me to support jobs here. Especially if I'm going to buy their products anyway.
so as a general rule, I do not buy Chinese products either but not everything made in China is of cheap quality. Probably the device you used to comment is made in China. The company TacticaGear is an Australian that takes great care in getting good quality from their manufacturer. but since the knife was a gift I am going to use it. after I took it apart and oiled the hinge, I also buffed it out. put it back together, and it works great. still wish it had a clip.
I understand. It's a gift. And I'm sure a welcoming one at that! I'm not trying to knock your video or channel . Sorry about that. Collecting knives is just something I'm pretty passionate about. I do have a few Chinese knives too myself. I don't really use them though or EDC them. All I'm trying to say is to the best of my ability I try not supporting the PRC. My Samsung isn't made in China. Luckily. It's hard to get away from it, just about everything is. More and more good (US) based or otherwise companies are sending and manufacturing products overseas but we're buying them...
@@pennywiseguy182 totally understand. we used to same the same thing about Japanese products.
I really like the looks of this beast. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
What a waste of time. There are 3 lengths of screws and the very first instruction in the assembly manual does not tell you which screw you should use. And now, right from the very beginning, you are forced to guess which screws to use. Somebody get serious on tutoring
The first instruction?? I don't think we used nails...cuz I'm making one rn..I also used nails at first then I realized we actually use the one in the board the A one
You have to look what the pieces are called. P1, P2 and P3 are the screws, in the first step you need wooden pieces. I hope I could help you
There are no wooden screws with my kit, just metal@@kimbusg7550
It is hard to imagine that a company with the astonishing technology to make these kits cannot implement a simple quality control proceedure to make sure the correct hardware to assemble them is attached@@kimbusg7550
