Most people in their videos remove the valve stem. Then ignite to seat it. Are you supposed to add air up to 40 psi during the explosion?

my car is doint the exact same thing, youll also get a small little tick at idle when this happens, i changed out everything, phasers, chain, tensioner and it still does this cold start rattle, it really seems to be coming from the chain, wtf, i kno on gdi engines theres a removable filter in between the head and block, im wondering if theres something like this on these engines, theres something thats making it not get the right oil pressure or somthhing, i even put on a hyundai oil filter wtf

you got it easy, lol. on our 2015 diesel we had to lift the motor to get the turbo studs to clear and pull the turbo

I just got an oem rotax oil filter and it have a piece of metal not a Rubber and the spring doesn't look like your oen filter I got the filter from partzilla the part number is 956123 u think I can install it or what and thanks for the video it was helpful

The real question is has anyone ever been told that it is pre engine failure and if so did it end up not end up being so ?

Torque Specs - Wheel hub bearing holding bolts : 134 Ft-lbs - Upper control arm ball joint nut : 40 Ft-lbs + Additional 200 degrees - Wheel hub nut : 185 Ft-lbs - Brake caliper mount bolts : 130 Ft-lbs

So...just FYI. After careful measurements.....250ml is the same as bottom of fill hole.

Did you end up blowing a rear seal ? Its supposed to get 250ml. Im doing mine now. Dont wanna overfill.

K&n filters are garbage. They let too much fine particulate through. Be it an air filter or an oil filter. K&N will cost you an engine if you're offroad.

What a butcher, you didn't prep any of the surfaces didn't anti seize anything, which I guess you don't need to do seeing how they just fall out like a rotor. Excellent, just had to do this after an hr. Of bagging door and trying to push button down, didn’t realize if keys are in ignition the power unlock button won’t work. Loved this video was in truck less than a minute after watching this. Short and to the point, without a long drawn out time eating process. 10 stars for you !!!

Those blend door actuators are a pain to replace on the driver side because they are way up in there. I think I'll go this route to replace both of them.

Hey man I have a 2013 and once we put the timing in I experience this issue the timing was done by a licensed professional. We used aftermarket parts so I assume the same thing VVT solenoids and the tensioner so I went to the dealer purchased it all for an hour leg goddess had to put in and I’m having the exact same issues and I’ve tried five or six different VVT solenoids camshaft solenoids cranks solenoids you name it on that car I replaced it if you could get back to me man that would be awesome if you might’ve found the answer
