Where is a good spot?
Nice🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
In 29:44 whats the location
Im gonna try and find it ill lyk 😂
Yes
The lack of tarpon up there has been disturbing
Really? I've been getting quite a few tarpon bites at the spillways lately. Some of the footage I had to delete because I couldn't use it was of some tarpon I caught and lost in that area.
Is 29:15 near the firehouse?
Yeah
was the first clip before ian i thought that house and fila board got destroyed in ian
No, it was during June of this year.
@@pafishing9719 i’m definitely gonna check it out then
you mind sliding over some decent locations in the area, currently only know about rosen park and bernice braden off cape pkwy
Did you just shove the jig head into the shark's mouth? Is that what you are supposed to do if you can't remove it?
The rain has came
New month video soon pls
Nice fish.
where’s the spillway at!?
Hey man, i’m going to be in cape coral for the weekend do you mind giving me some spots
Yea it’s here
Yep
It’s June time for the may video 😂😊🎉
It's coming 😀
Like the vids but don’t understand the necessity of pictures with every fish when you have it on camera. Pole know you caught the fish. But literally every single one has to be subjected to the photo op
I think saying I take a picture of every single one I catch is bit excessive. Most of the fish I catch I don't take pictures of, It may seem that way with the clips I use, but it isn't. I do appreciate that you enjoy my videos! At the end of the day I like having video and some pictures from my fishing sessions to remember the good times!
Is that off burntstore
I’m a local should definitely go fishing sometime
Awesome videos, I’m going to be visiting last week of August, have a rental right on the saltwater canal. Been watching your videos to get an idea on what to bring, I see the artificial shrimp is looking like a top choice. What lb test you running? I’m looking for a decent travel rod that can pack into a carry/check in. Any advice I’ll be more then happy!
I usually use 20lb braid for the saltwater canals.
If it's brackish/saltwater, I have a lot of luck on Artificial shrimp, swimbaits, small spoons, jerkbaits/jerkshads, big and small jigs, and around 6 inch topwater plugs. As far as real bait goes, you can't go wrong with shrimp, pinfish, mullet, and smaller crabs to fish around dock pilings for sheepshead. For rod/reels I like to use medium heavy - medium light with 2500 size spinning reels. Hope this helps!

Is that by Tropicana?
What jerk bait you use for the peacock bass
Usually these ones. Rapala X-Rap Xtreme Action Slash bait Suspending Lures XR08 series.
@@pafishing9719 thx
I know most of your spots from google maps😂😂
What lure did you catch the big snook on
Those 3D yu zuri and mirro lures should work very popular 😊
I caught it on a 3 inch weightless zoom fluke.

lighthouse beach

Hey man great video! I've been binge watching your videos lately and have been leaning a lot! I was wondering if you catch many of those cichlids in the cape coral area? I usually go to the Everglades for them but it would be nice to not have to go that far. Thanks!
If you're talking about the peacocks, then yes I do catch them pretty often in the cape. Sometimes you do have to do a little searching for them, but there seems to be more and more of them popping up in different areas.
Where is that last rock spillway?
Where is that hidden spillway AREA
Nice video. I watched the whole thing 😂 2 Hours Later 😂
Nice! hope you enjoyed!
@@pafishing9719definitely, I want more 😂
You got any recommendations for fishing there in the canals for peacocks or fishing for tarpon because I’m going to Cape Coral this April break
Same for me
Thx for the vid
I can't tell you all of his secret spots, but in general, the weirs along Burnt Store Road, call up google maps, marks the final freshwater/saltwater interface on the west side of cape coral. Snook and jack in the saltwater (west), bass and panfish in the freshwater (east). For pure saltwater, the canals along the west side, tropicana park and sirenia vista park for example, offer snook, some juvenile tarpon (rarely), snapper and sea trout. A lot of people use live shrimp, but shrimp style plastics, crank baits and crappy jigs do pretty well, especially after a rain when the weirs are really running. A lot of people fish the bridges in Matlacha, the fishing pier in bookelia ($$), and the culverts along the Sanibel Jin Darling Wildlife Drive ($). For Beach Fishing, blind pass beach on sanibel offers the best access ($) along a long beach and connector between the gulf and Pine Island sound. There is also good shore fishing south of Fort Myers Beach along Bonita Beach Causeway at Little Carlos Pass, New Pass and Big Hickory Pass. @@charlescrain2726 ok thanks a lot bro

Thank you! sounds good!
where is the last spot located?
safe to eat out of canals?
I catch and release, so, I'm not sure.
Hey man, love the video. I am going to be in Cape Coral from March 8 until March 15, we have a boat to use... I am trying to decide where and what to focus my fishing efforts on... any advice appreciated! Both myself and my buddy are experienced fisherman/guides from Michigan, I fished in Florida a fair amount about 10 years ago up by Sarasota, but I have never fished around Cape Coral.
Depends on the type of water you're fishing. I don't have a boat so I'm much more limited to where I can go. As far as fishing the canals/inshore areas go, If it's freshwater, I like to use jerkbaits, swimbaits, jigs, topwater frogs, senkos and other artificial worms for bass and gar, as far as artificial baits goes. You can use small jigs, spinners and crankbaits for the smaller species like sunfish, cichlids, and tilapia. Live bait like worms either on the bottom, or under a float are good for the smaller species. Live shiners/minnows work very good for largemouth bass, peacock bass and gar. If it's brackish/saltwater, I have a lot of luck on Artificial shrimp, swimbaits, small spoons, jerkbaits/jerkshads, crankbaits, big and small jigs. As far as real bait goes, you can't go wrong with live/dead shrimp, pinfish, mullet, and smaller crabs to fish around dock pilings and other structure for sheepshead. Hope this helps!
Where is the trout spot
Was at that bridge in Matlacha last week...nowhere near the variety of fish down there this time of year, nothing large enough to take our cut bait on circle hooks. I nabbed several bait fish (no idea what they were) using a 1/4 oz jig and a swim bait. We did see a guy pull in a puffer fish from the shallower water. Water is cool in Feb which cuts down on the hook ups.
Yeah, the cold can shut off quite a few of the species around here.
Agreed...normally we're in the area later in the Spring, but the schedule dictated our trip down in Feb. Should've done more research on the fishing down there...I stocked up on tackle thinking we'd have a shot at snook and some other species, just wasn't the case. I'll take another go at it when we're in the area possibly in May this year, should be better action! Great videos btw, thanks for posting.
Yeah, the fishing especially in the canals is much better in the spring. Thanks for watching! @@ChrisG9978
Jeez it’s been two years since I’ve moved out here and still can’t catch a dang snook lol where the heck do people fish in Cape Coral?
They're in a lot of the brackish canals and some of the freshwater ones that are close to the brackish canals. People catch them in the Caloosahatchee river as well.
What color and size shrimp are you using?
white/ brown 4inch D.O.A brand shrimp usually.
Nice video and catches. Those D,O.A. shrimp jigs work so well. I just subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work. Tight lines and good luck out there this season.
Thank you! good luck to you as well!
What Jerk Baits do you use
Usually rapala and yo-zuri brands.
I went to the spill the other day I didn't catch anything
Yeah, it's tough right now because its so cold.
Yeah
You should start making weekly videos
Hey I was wondering if you could tell me where one of those spots are. OR Even The AREA AROUND IT
The Trout Spot
It's along old burnt store, on the way to sirenia vista park . @@reelinfishin-n-football6398
Thx I thought it was down by Sirena Vista
Is this Tropicana pkwy
Before or after tropicana
Good video, been super slow up that way, have not fished much, even with all the rain. Think the problem is lack of bait. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, it has been slow, might start trying for some black drum or sheepshead in the canals.
