I gave my first flock to a lady that had 2 acres of land. I have had 3 different flocks, and I have had my current for 3 years and my babies have been with me since they were day olds

How does this help someone whose partner of almost 4 years just abandoned him? It’s almost going to be a month and he has blocked me from every form of communication. I have no idea where he is or if he’s safe. I have no faith and no hope right now.

I wasn’t following you when you were with Steve and his journey with ALS but when I think someone is amazing I look back and I got to see that part of your life you shared. Like from min 5-7 … and on and on I felt like you were speaking what I’ve been trying to do. We stayed in touch as caregivers via instagram. I would LOVE to sign up with you as three years later after my Father passed (I was his caregiver for four years), now my mom immediately after but two very different situations. I can still help others but my health took a turn with autoimmune which kicked in my health ocd (which was doing well as I’ve been in therapy for years for this). And I LOVE my therapist but I feel a connection more with you where you can help me more as we have sooooo much in common that I don’t feel she and I do. She’s more for my CBT. I am stuck a bit. Totally get the whole issue surrounding confidence lost when our husbands have died from ALS. I’m still struggling to believe in myself and find my worth and whilst I have continued to try to fill my daughters’ cups there has been little time and space to fill mine. Now they are more self sufficient and I have only one left to get through uni..I’m actually not terribly sure where to start on me. But like you said , little steps. Love to see you in the U.K. you have to go to Cornwall!!!ps. Sorry for lack of sunshine it’s been absolutely the worst summer I’ve ever witnessed. Big love to you Hope ❤️❤️

Thank you for sharing so openly about such a deeply personal part of your journey. I needed to hear this today. My wife of 26 years changed quite drastically and demanded a divorce last year. My Christmas gift to her was that divorce, but it was quite painful for me and our adopted teenage son who has special needs. I'm moving through the grief of that loss, and in so doing, I've realized that I deserve so much more than I was getting in the past decade. Because I am an empath, I was pouring myself into trying to help her and keep our family together. It was exhausting, and fruitless. I finally realized both my son and I were being traumatized by the situation, and it was time to get out. Now it is time to heal, and to focus on myself so that I can be a strong, empowered Mother for my son. I have MS and a heart condition, and at 66, raising a teen with special needs is challenging, but it is so rewarding. He is an absolute joy! He is my sunshine! You are always an inspiration for me, but especially this evening as I prepare for my son to start his very first Summer job, a support work position with a job coach, tomorrow morning. My baby is growing up, and I can shift a little more focus to myself. God is good!
