I appreciate that you repeat your choices. Some booktubers just fly through them and if something sounds interesting I have no way of keeping up. I would trust the die and absolutely use cards that fly out of the deck. 😂

Choosing peace always needs to be an option. The last book I DNF's was actually Dial A for Auntie by Jesse Q Sutanto. I was so disspointed that I didn't like it but I chose not to torture myself and just pick another book to read.

I hated the book, gave me creepy chills, left it in middle, couldn't stand Killian and Glyn too

I am reading Things We Never Got Over right now. So far, I am enjoying it and am looking forward to continuing the series. I hope your reads go well.

tbh I've also been in a reading slump when it comes to books for a few years, but then I started reading manga and I've been enjoying myself a lot with them. I think I'm also just so burned out from books due to studying so much in Uni, but things like manga and hell, even fanfiction, is a joy to read for some reason

Also, One Dark Window is fantastic and the sequel is even better. It's got everything. Total page-turner.

I feel for you and your reading slump, I hope you find something to get you out of it. I think that what i usually do is do a reread of a favourite and that most often gets me going again. Interesting that you didn't like Emma, it seems so popular and I love when someone has a deviating opionion about a popular book. I love used books. I love giving love to someones unhauled books.
