Rich's Segway Tour in Sonoma
Just messin' around after the tour. Notice the tipsy camera-woman's grace as she almost falls down from laughter?
Much fun! Can't wait to do it again!

The voice is from a recording I made on Nov. 29, 1998. Even at age 6, Jerico was already tech-savvy, making voice recordings and tinkering with any gadgets we had laying around. How telling those signs were! The photos are from his 2010 trip to Seattle. Cute recording don't you think?

I hate it when they ruin great music videos by being "artsy" or whatever this is supposed to be. If I want to see street scenes for Japan I'll look them up.

There's only one religion worth worshiping. And that's Michael fucking Brecker!!!!

Thank God for the Japanese and the Euros so these great musicians could cut out a living and not just live on food stamps renting a closet in NYC. Yeah the 80's were a great contrast for fusion to fight against that horrible MTV noise nonsense. Somebody should of bombed Athens Georgia. Ha! Ha!

Abercrombie gets some really interesting sounds out if that set up. Is it just a regular 12 note scale guitar? You can hear his influences from Indian music

Awesome reinterpretation of Marc Johnson's classic Bass Desires composition with Michael Brecker and John Abercrombie as an excellent frontline

Love the tune but replacing footage of the GOAT Brecker with stock footage of Asia? Who thought that was a good idea??? Unforgivable.

Crumb's patch on the guitar synth not too unlike Pat's own classic 'trumpet' patch. But to be fair, Abercrombie's is a bit more percussive - almost like a touch of 'steel pans' in that timbre.

Remember when bass desirees come out, love It and since than thought this Song Is son to Black Market a kind of variation on that Jozy's theme...quite evident indeed

Idiotic remark. Abercrombie would step on your shoes, if he didn't have more pressing concerns out in the cosmos.

I had a bootleg of this group and lost it! Great band ! Remember watching Brecker going through a box of reeds complaining about how soft they all felt. Anything of him playing live brings back great memories.

What are you talking about? We just saw Danish guitarist Jakob Bro at The Village Vanguard with Joe Lovano on sax and a great rhythm section. Jan Garbarek has been on tour most of the year. (With the incredible Trilok Gurtu on percussion).

Felt exactly the same way! As a musician (and) a video editor, I was appalled they would cut out such important parts. Notice how they keep reusing the shot of Marc looking up all dreary-eyed... it's like he had a man-crush on Michael, even though he probably looked up once for a cue or something. Otherwise... good stuff. I ripped this off a DVD...gotta grab these things while they're still available. Glad you liked it.
