Located in Corona, California, the Corona Fire Department staffs 7 Fire Stations with full-time, professional Firefighters. We are an All Risk department, providing fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire prevention, technical rescue, and hazardous materials response to the City of Corona. The mission of the Corona Fire Department is to prevent or minimize the loss of life, damage to the environment, and loss of property from the adverse effects of fire, medical emergencies, and hazardous conditions.
SaveStation Installed At BorderPark Pickleball Courts
On Saturday, January 27th a new SaveStation was unveiled at the Border Park Pickleball Courts!
This SaveStation contains a public access defibrillator that is accessible to anyone at the park. In the event of someone having a sudden cardiac arrest, the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can be used. Along with activation of the 911 system and early CPR, an AED can drastically increase the chance of survival of sudden cardiac arrest.
The installation of the new SaveStation is the first of many in the City of Corona.
We would like to thank the Corona Parks Foundation, the Corona Fire Safety Foundation, and FLWR CO for sponsoring the SaveStation at the Border Park Pickleball Courts.

For those who don’t know, this is no small task. In bunker gear your mobility is cut down by 25 percent. The gear weighs another 65-75 lbs on top of your own body weight. Not many can climb a fence in gear. Especial those built like hobbits.
