A Mother's Love, a Son's Legacy and a Journey Of Healing: Rosie Gagnon
Somebody needs to put up the capital to make a movie of this. I believe it, because I have a sense this record will stand for quite a while. The variables in crewing this attack were monumental, and highly dependent on the good will of a large number of people. I agree with Tara that she could have fallen and made it horribly difficult, so her victory is monumental. However, I hope Rascal reels in the kudos and the professional accolades she deserves. There's no limit to the credit she deserves.
I saw Ed today at Fat Ox in Arizona. He had on a suit w Christmas lights. Definitely an inspiration
I hate that we missed that suit!! I bet he will be bringing it back out soon!!
You ladies are amazing! Enjoying this podcast, our first time turning in.
They are amazing! Thank you for listening!!
This is the day that I became acutely aware that there’s a whole community of runners who started running during 2020 or after that’s not aware of Road ID or similar products. I hadn’t been participating in as many races as I used to so it hadn’t really dawned on me that Road ID doesn’t share their product info at the races like they used to. I can’t recommend enough either Road ID or something similar-easily visible-for anyone who is running, hiking, walking, biking, etc. Having that contact information easily and readily available is so so soooo important when time is of the essence.
Great point! You just never know.
Mile 6-7ish. I am so glad that she is ok!! I’ve wondered about her since that day!! What an amazing comeback 💥💪🏻 such resilience!! 🙌🏻
Oh wow! Were you participating in that same event?
Yes I was there! Heather had already been moved to the side of the road by the time that I made it to that area. There was also a lady there who was trained in Wilderness First Aid as well as some other people from the medical community too. God was watching over Heather that day for sure🙏🏻.
You can get a Precision Hydration sweat test in Nashville. It’s $175 and takes about 30 minutes. They have the same machines used to test for cystic fibrosis.
Good to know Josh! Thank you!!
I got to hike with Candy Mama on the Appalachian Trail in GA last year, very humble down-to-earth lady. Hope she'll hold the new FKT for AT this August >>> ME to GA...Praying for a safe and a successful Run/hike 🏃🏽♀🏃🏽♀🏃🏽♀

Thanks, guys for this interview. I was a big fan and follower of the Blazing Bakers on UA-cam. I never knew what happened to Sarah and her completion of the PCT. So nice to see Sarah is doing well and enjoying life. So sorry about her grandparents. Sarah if you are reading this will you ever come back to posting on UA-cam? How is the house coming along? Did you guys know Sarah can sing like a superstar. Is there any way possible to follow Sarah's progress when she does the AT run? Thanks again guys, I always was worried when you don't hear anything from an individual that you followed on UA-cam.
Yeah I hope she will finish her series on that it has been 2 years now.
