Here are three of my picks. None of them are the last word in sonic bliss. But they are all hit songs, and sound really good. -- Hawaii Five-O, from Capital Records in 2013, by Mort Stevens and his Orchestra. There are several Five-O releases over the years, and all but the above are unlistenable. The one above actually sounds like real people playing real instruments. -- I Got You Babe, by Sonny & Cher. Mine is a rip from a CD, and I cannot find the CD (it's somewhere in my home or my car). But it has soundstaging, the speakers disappear, etc. There is a problem with Cher's microphone. It has a slight buzz that you hear, only while she is singing. I don't know how the studio personnel could be that incompetent. Well, considering how much compressed, equalized, over-processed songs they shovel out, I guess I understand how they missed her faulty microphone. No one, no matter how high their stardom, escapes the incompetence of the studio's personnel. The Beat Goes On, is also right up there with the sound quality -- and Cher's microphone was working properly. -- (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher), by Jackie Wilson. Another rip from a CD that I can't find. It sounds amazing. Not the last word in audio sonic bliss. But really good. An amazing hit song, and it sounds fantastic. A rare combination. It is hard to find songs that make you want to tap your feet, that also sound great. It is hard to find songs that are hits, that also sound great. Audio shows play "put me to sleep music" that sounds amazing, but bores me. If I could resurrect Tiny Tim, and have him sing "live" for me in my home, he could not possibly sound any better. Yet, I do not want to hear him singing in my home. And that is the problem with songs that they choose to play at audio shows. No matter how real the presentation, it needs to be a melody that you want to hear. The above songs that I listed are all digital. I have several treasured vinyl picks, too, with hit songs, where I cannot find a digital equal.

The Morels sound fuller and more detailed to me. BUT...that is a very live and small room (I'm guessing between 10'-11' wide), and they're on different speaker stands. Also, I'm listening through Status CB1 headphones connected to a Schiit headphone amp connected to a Dell laptop. All the variables make it impossible to judge without being in the room.

The room dominates, and that song is quite squealy. The Totems manage to make it somewhat listenable. The Morel have a bit of tweeter off axis flare sound. Would love to hear the speakers in person though

I've heard it at my local dealer shop which is a good friend of mine and it truly sound amazing ,he drove a bookshelf A1 loudspeaker by magico and it make this speakers sound alive ...

Incredible speakers

The voice sounded more 'out there', more dynamic on the Totem, but since this is a smallish room with bare walls and no acoustic treatment whatsoever, I cannot say if it's a good thing because on the long run, it might get fatiguing. Some speakers have obvious bumps which catch your attention at first but annoys on the long term. Good video overall! Thanks !

Is there a way to connect a sub to these? Doesnt look like it, which is kind of a deal breaker.

The problem with fancy finishes is, you are paying for looks, not for sound. I`d rather have better caps and cabling than x layers of piano laquer.

Just hooked up a pair of T9X's in my room....still running them in and getting em dialed....but I'm already enjoying the depth of soundstage!

Great video. What do you think of the new momentum remote. It looks amazing but I was surprised how it felt. Nothing like the preamp volume.
