I remember the first time I watched this movie. My dad told me about it and asked if I'd like to watch it with him, to which I said yes. All he had told me was that it was a true story about a Russian submarine and its crew that had gotten stranded at the bottom of the White Sea. **SPOILERS** I was really enjoying the movie, but then once the Russian government finally allowed Western nations to help, and the divers found their bodies, I was shocked into silence for the rest of the movie. When it ended, I slowly turned to my dad and said in a tearful voice "What in the actual FUCK" It's so heartbreaking. Those men could have been saved, but because of incompetent leadership, they would die. It's just depressing.

I have to thank a neighbor up the street from me in Brant Beach, N.J. He was a winter Crew local who played guitar extremely well. I was a solid 1970's progressive rocker, several electronic bands. Gregger introduced me to Watercolors. Then ECM- 1114, then New Chautauqua, and 1982's brilliant Off Ramp and wow Travels. Song X never really hit me... Anyway back to my first PAT gig. It was ECM-1114 tour year 1979 or 1980. Once I learned the playing patterns on the livesetting, your Brain is altered, expanding as you are inundated with high energy, thought provoking Patness!
