Good video, but the video goes downhill when you sprayed the fan .You should have taken out the fan and cleaned it separately, although you used the vacuum afterwards........

I have a 2024 non-plug in Tucson hybrid and there is a vent in the center of the back seat that doesn’t seem to be removable. Is there a filter behind this that needs to be cleaned? The manual doesn’t seem to mention this as any maintenance

Hello, after cleaning and changing the filter of my 2016 Prius hybrid, I started to hear the fan spinning when the battery is charged. Before, I never heard it turn. Is this normal or should I be worried??

1. Don´t use pressurized air, use a brush and a vacuum cleaner instead. Make sure the fan does NOT spin or you can potentially damage it. 2. Don´t take off the filter or clean it INSIDE your car, take it out and replace it outside, the whole point of this filer is to not let that dust come inside the battery. 3. Replace the filter don´t just clean it off as well. It´s cheap.

Sadly doesnt work on Toyota Auris Hybrid 2018. Probably due to different gearbox switch.

Hallo sir. Is it ok if I use mantainance mode for warming up the car every morning? I ussualy do it for about 2-5 minutes before I leave my house and drive in normal hybrid mode after that. I have been doing this for about a week now, do you think it is damaging the hybrid system? Or is there another way to warm up the car ? I hear that some people say you dont need to warm up hybrid cars, just go straight away on ev mode when the cars just started. And I leave in Jakarta and my car is innova zenix. Thanks Sir. 😊🙏

Hi! Thank you so much for the video. It really helps. I have a 2018 CHR - I was outta country for months. The battery died since the car wasn't in use. I jump started the car with my neighbour's help but since it's a hybrid, I had to keep the accelerator pressed in half way at least to keep the engine running, else the car switched to hybrid battery and since I just wanted to car to sit on idle and let the battery charge for about 15 to 30 mins before I turn it off and call it a night. Came across your video randomly and ever since then I've been using the maintenance mode for battery related issues, during oil change when they want to engine to run a bit after changing the oil, etc. I do also keep forgetting these steps every time I need to turn on the maintenance mode, so I always come back to your video! This is the 4th time and probably the last cause I've memorized it now. Kindly upload more CHR videos as well if you have this car still. Need to learn more about the Japanese hybrid system!

So,wrap your brains around this. The Toyota maintenance schedule recommends this service only if you vehicle is used in special operation. Such as taxi, police or door to door delivery in other words sustained low speed driving. Don’t believe me look it up in the maintenance schedule/log book. Every time you take your vehicle in for service they try to sell you as much maintenance as they can. Whether they lie to you or not. Things like brake fluid flushing, engine induction system cleaning, transmission/power splitting device fluid changing etc. If it’s not on the Toyota maintenance schedule they’re just wanting to flush your wallet.

Love the way you showed us how to clean the fan blades with a small vacuum and brush to prevent pushing dust into the inverter vents. I cleaned my fan filter today and the blades were only slightly dusty, but I didn’t know what to do if they were dirty. Toyota wants several hundred dollars for this minor maintenance!
