Those are half-pushups. You fake them by lowering your middle body to give you the illusion to do a full range of motion. You should do less quantity but better quality, your wrists, elbows and shoulders will thank you. And your muscles will work much more. You've got the mind to push yourself, keep going.

The dip apparatus I use has two iron bars as a base with rubberized coating at each end. It comes from Titan Fitness.

Yea, I know what you mean. That abdominal pressure can keep you safe and hold technique together. I do try to release my breath a little about 2/3 of the lift completed and reset for next rep. This mini circuit also had extra ROM push ups and sumo deadlift too. It was done for a 5-30-5 for reps for three to five rounds.
Love it! A technique that helps me when I deadlift is to hold that breath which creates pressure all the way up then all the day down before you let it out and take a new one to reset for the next rep. Keep slinging that iron!❤
