Played Pokemon since Gen 1 was new and Gen 4 was peak

I only started playing Gen 4 in 2016 cause I was so attached to Gen 2. I really missed out so much, but I'm so glad I got to play it eventually. I still am playing Renegade Platinum on my phone and the game's novelty is still fresh and intact. :)

By far the best music out of the entire series, and it's due to one person, Hitomi Sato. 80% of the music is done by her. If it isn't a grand theme or battle theme (80%masuda 20% go ichinose), it will be done by Hitomi. Most of these tracks are all Hitomi Sato. She hasn't spearheaded a game's audio design since.

There really is something arresting that grips people so fiercely and dearly to the Pokemon series. The concept, even from the outset was to conjure up nostalgia felt by series creator Satoshi Tajiri of his youth catching bugs in a now deforested and urbanized area of the Japanese countryside. There was always something wistful and kind of tragic underneath everything. That same essence can be heard crying out in the music.

i was born in 2008, but am lucky to enough to have an older brother who let me use his DS when i was a small child and i played pokemon diamond on it. Didnt know how to play but i enjoyed the music and just running around the starting area. I still have the same DS and pokemon game case and card and im replaying it right now, and now im old enough to actually understand how to play XD

It sounds weird coming from me, but XY were my first Pokémon games I ever played when I was 7. I’m 16 now, turning 17 next month. I feel old.. But I’m so glad Game Freak is working on Pokémon ZA. And ironically, Pokemon ZA comes out the year I turn 18. Funny isn’t it?

The pokemon gym leader theme from hgss has a special place in my heart, the hours i used to struggle as a kid refusing to learn the type chart😂😂

Mauville + Rustdeep theme makes me feel so happy and relaxed :)
