Great video, this makes me think of when I was in middle school and my friends and I were obsessed with Pokemon... I miss those days. Now I'm always studying for exams and we've all pretty much gone our seperate ways. But at least I have this video to listen to while I study <3

i like how most of the music is from gen 4 and 5, those seem to be the generations that people look back on the most fondly out of nostalgia or childhood memories. i will always consider gen 4 integral to my childhood memories

nostalgia is really something.. I would do anything to get back to those days where we used to be just child playing pokemon game on gameboy or DS. Playing with card and trading it in shool and playing with the game during week-end and holydays. Have this feeling of discovery and mystery when entering a new pokemon game. When you discovered a weird mansion in a forest or a stranger underground facility ... And we used to talk about it and make theory about what could be inside ! seem like it's so old, it's a different life, and i'm only 28.

Cyllage city is my personal favorite theme in pokemon for cities.

It’s funny how you can still hear the Gen 5 musical influence here at some points. It’s especially obvious with the first track. Sounds a ton like the ice gym city from Gen 5. Same with Sycamore’s theme.

Ooh yeah, these were my childhood games. First was heartgold (actually was mystery dungeon but first mainline was HG), didn't realise the point of the game was to catch wild pokemon so i just steamrolled everyone with my level 100 meganium, then got platinum, then onto black, then white 2. Bought X but never really enjoyed it like the gen 4/5 games and that's where I lost contact with pokemon. I still have all my games and nintendo but I haven't touched them in about 8 years. I'm 23 now, it's nice to come back for a moment.

heartgold and soulsilver had absolute banger music, also really nice scenery and a great story. Everything was slower and more made with heart and soul back then. Yes fitting to heartgold and soulsilver lol.
