Everyone here at Ultegacy appreciates all the views this is getting. This is something I wrote back in the fall and is something I’ve wanted to turn into a video for about 4-5 years. This moment is not talked enough about and a lot of people think certain things happen that actually didn’t so I wanted to explain what all really happened including other people’s perspectives at the game. I am a cousin on Root and on the back of Charlie Root’s baseball card (the next year) Root said if Babe would of pointed that home run he would have found his ass on on the ground. I believe Root’s statement because Root had a nasty temper and was known as a player you never pissed off!

My family went to see the Harlem Globetrotters a number of times (we lived in New Jersey not far from NYC) during 1959. They had this amazing "point guard"; what was his name? Oh yeah, Wilt. I "followed" him into the NBA - seeing as many (tape-delayed) broadcasts as were available in the NYC broadcast area. Many years later, I went to a game in San Diego. I was seated in an aisle seat when Wilt walked up the steps. He dwarfed me. I was staring at him in awe; so he stopped and gave me the most gentle smile (typical for him). Unfortunately, I couldn't utter a word; so "my claim to fame" is more embarrassment than anything else - lol. At that time I swore I'd never let any such similar opportunity pass me by. Then a few years later, I was running long-distance in San Diego's Balboa Park. I crossed paths with (almost crashed into) this giant red-head on a bicycle. It was Bill Walton. I was awe-struck again; and could only stare and smile. He smiled back.

A far cry from the generational handed down myth we all got that of an imposing commanding stare down demeanor of a living legend striking fear into the hearts of opponents and mere mortal men. Art Powell played in an era when only two or three teams in each conference made the playoffs! Not sure how long but in the beginning of his career only the top two teams played each other. His touchdown totals in a lot of those seasons were outstanding as was his career total in that era! Played for 5 teams in a 10 year career and put up those kind of numbers........Hall of fame!

Why not compare his numbers to those who played at the same time? Randy yes, the rest no.

Guys, they have a top ten offense. Jimmy is better in the redzone than Carr. Waller couldn't block. Now, they have Hooper and Mayer who can do both. They added Meyer and Tucker to an already stacked WR core. Their OL got better as the year went on, and now, having a year under their belt from the new system they used last system, they're ready to kick ass. They upgrade the defense at every group. The defense was horrible, and now looks at least to be average. Nine wins this season is about right, but they are set up to win in 2024.
