The resultent transfers out of that same account simply need to be “graduated” ie what was the payment for, why was that account used, which payment can be retrieved as an “over payment” to the recipient. Repayment can be made by using another account or simply deducting the over payment from any future payment. Simple, nothing complicated in that process.

Butt hen there is the CPS and the Police forces involved and the hope freezes.

I still can’t believe the innocent are still waiting for their compensation. It shows the true level of corruption here, the fact that the solicitors and those complicit in the first instance are just spinning it all out to avoid having to pay the compensation out.

Where has the money gone - to callous robbing b*st*rds. They were very sure that the Postmasters nicked it all; but now they don't know where it went. Isn't that just a bit convenient? Weren't there bonuses to senior staff paid out related to "profits"; since the profits were at least partly bogus, seize the bonuses back. Simple and effective and appropriate. All the senior managers seemed to know, and ignored it.

Large organisations set “directions” all the time. Literally no one asks where exactly it comes from. I even ask and people are just shocked. I ask is it A, is it B? And people just shake their heads. That’s how power works.
