Healthy and not so healthy drink options
Love the teaser!!! Looks delicious! I love your saying about pivoting... "don't freak out, adapt"... excellent about adding the peas... LOVE YOUR SUGGESTIONS... Do you have any good quick instantpot recipes you haven't shared yet??? Loved this one and can't wait to make it!
Love my Instantpot and yes I have some recipes to share.
My favorite WFPB Cooking Show Stroganoff!
Yes that is a great cooking show.
Looks delicious! I bet these were super cozy winter dinners.
They are!
There are too many options to list them all for the wonderful oat! Banana, walnut, and peanut butter for a Chunky Monkey vibe - strawberries and chocolate chips for a Valentine’s breakfast - mango and coconut in the summer by the pool for a tropical twist - and on the savory side, anything that makes a great risotto can make a great oatmeal as an alternative that cooks in 1/4 of the time with little effort. I prefer sweet for overnight since I usually eat them cold on the run but still hard to go wrong.
Oh, the chunky monkey vibe would be a treat. Yes, great risotto replacement. These are great ideas!
Absolutely love this channel! I'll definitely be watching everything on your channel. Wishing you the best of luck with your channel!
Thank you so much and glad you are enjoying our channel.
My favorite make-ahead meal is the Korean rice bowl bibimbap. I make quick pickles, stir fried vegetables, and soft boiled braised eggs in advance. Before work I top a Tupperware full of cooked rice with my toppings and some kimchi. It’s delicious and healthy and fast and very customizable.
Oh that is a great idea! And yes so easy to make for various eating styles.
You’re very good at explaining things, and you have great camera presence!
I appreciate that!
What a fabulous video.... I wish I had your brain for food prep and cooking! Happy New Year, and keep these awesome videos coming!!!! I hope to batch-cook dried beans and then freeze them for future use... I also love all-in-one meals!
Yes having the beans ready is fantastic. What is your favorite all-in-one meal?
@@1Dish2Ways my daily breakfast of a mix of oat groats/farro/wheat berries and other grains, mix of greens (I know it sounds weird, but you get used to it, and now it tastes great), legumes (usually tempeh or tofu), fruits (a mix but always berries), ground flax seeds, cinnamon, amla powder, some turmeric and black pepper... so I get my fruit/veg/seeds/legumes/grains all in one meal... it is a great way to start the day.... keeps me satiated for hours. It is a huge bowl to fit it all in!!! I love leftovers for lunch that include one-pot soups/stews/chiles etc... and then for dinner it is usually a big salad with tons of greens/veggies/some fruit ie grapes or satsumas with nut, legume, or vinegar-based dressing and sometimes some grains...
I'm driving behind you as I'm writing this HELLO 👋
Hello there!
Love overnight oats... love your happy food dance!!! I do the same... Happy Holidays to you and Joe!!!! 🥦🥬❤
Happy holidays!
Great idea, Sheila, to make pancakes on a sheet pan!
Thank you. Let us know how you like it when you try it.
Just passed ur car with the ad on it, so I came to subscribe lol
Welcome and thank you.
I just did the same thing 😂
In every video, I learn new tips from you. Keep doing these... they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the tip about walking after lunch ;)... Have you ever tried soy curls instead of shredded chicken?? I think it tastes similar.
Not yet but will add it to the list to try.
I saw you driving it was on the back of your car
Thanks for checking out the channel.
I thank the algorithm overlords for recommending your page. You are amazing Sheila.
Wow, thank you!
I friggin love your tips and tricks... I learn so much from you! I have used lentils in "meatloaf" but love this recipe and can't wait to try it... Yours looks mouthwateringly delicious!!!!!
Thank you and glad I have tips you can use.
Having 8 stay at my home for Christmas. Sheetpan pancakes are the way to go!❤❤❤
Yes. Let us know how they turn out.
They are great!
Thanks Mom.
Wow! Sheet pan Pancakes, like ya say everybody can eat at the same time and from the looks of satisfaction on ya'll's faces totally SCRUMPTIOUS! Trying this here, thanks for sharing, 👍and buen provecho.😋
You are welcome. Please let us know what you think.
Love this page! this is me and my bf, 100% - finding things that work for both of us are always a prize.
Yes a prize for both of you. Great job.
I do mine with bread crumble at the end, just after the eggs. Try it, you will love it. It gives a crunchy side.
Good Idea.
What a great idea. You are a genius
Thank you.
Happy Thanksgiving AND Holidays to you and your awesome family! LOVE THE SHEET PAN VERSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great idea!!! LOVE THE GREENS FOR BREAKFAST :)
Thank you!!!
@@1Dish2Ways MADE IT... LOVE IT!!!!
Thankful for you... and you teaching us delicious and healthy options for traditional meals/drinks... XO... Apple cider... yum!!!
You are welcome and apple cider is delish.
Love the idea of one-dip cuts.... I love broccoli, celery, jicama, and all that you have on there, too. Love the dancing!!!!
Yes, Jicama but I can only find that in the summer. It has the best crunch.
Yours looks so good!! Love the broccoli in there to make it more colorful. I would have added some kale too. Thank you for making me drool :)
You are so welcome!
Another great job!
Great making
Thanks
Hey Sheila love from India 🇮🇳 I would love to see you try making Punjabi chole /chick pea masala it's an amazing yummy vegan dish of India.
Oh I will need to look into that. Thank you @Sanskarnag2005
Love the intro!!! Looked delicious... LOVE YOUR REACTIONS TO EATING... just like mine! Can't wait to see what you do with the leftovers!
Thanks so much!!
Great job 😊😊😊
Thanks 😄
Can't wait for the cinnamon roll pancake video!!!!!! Love the adaptations!!!! I love healthy baked apples when others have apple pie (easy to make and delicious... Dr Furhman has a good recipe)... LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! Thank you for getting us ready for the holiday season!!! Tips... I eat before I go to an event, so I am not so hungry that I make poor decisions. I also bring food for all to share that I know I can eat. I visualize how I will handle a situation before I go (i.e., not standing near the food) and congratulate myself when I make good choices.
Oh baked apples sound fantastic and great idea to visualize the situation.
Absolutely LOVE your show, tips, ideas, etc... Love how you show the similarities between plant-based and standard American cooking! LOL, I ALWAYS add too much sauce to things... I have to get more patient in adding a little at a time and do it to taste... Love your happy dance. I do that, too, when I have great food. The way I do sloppy joe is drool over yours... Maybe that will be our meal tomorrow night! Yummm....
Thank you and I would love to hear about your recipe for sloppy joe.
Made this menu for an Open house and added baked beans for an easy lunch
Great addition!
I loved it! Im a vegitarian, my honey is a carnivore, but willing to eat no meat meals. But i loved this video!
Glad you liked it!!
Oh my gosh, I wish there was smell-o-vision... I like the frozen spinach option... LOVE IT... THANK YOU!
You are so welcome!
That looks delicious.
Thank you. Let us know if you make it.
Yes, for the cabbage soup recipe, please... interesting texture when freezing tofu...
Noted in the book of video ideas!
Love your tips for picky kids!!!! Great recipe!!! Consider the same recipe with Soy curls instead of chickpeas... rehydrated soy curls taste/look SO MUCH like chicken!. So cool that you are using carrots from your own garden... I am drooling watching you as you are taking the covers off... looks so yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I am excited to try the soy curls. Thanks for the tip.
I couldn't hear your intro (which I usually LOVE) but glad I could hear the presentation! Awesome topic and love your tips about the pressure cooker and crock pots!... Love that you are taking the class and learning new flavors!!! Joe, love your comments...
Thank you and yes the class is fascinating.
I love carrot dogs so I am going to try the baby carrots for a potluck on Saturday night!
Great. Please let us know how it goes.
LOVE PLANTSTRONG! Love this idea!!!!!!! I can't wait to make this!!! I like to dehydrate apples for later use and baked apples (great plant-based versions)... also love the idea of making this with kids!!!! This is one of my favorite videos!! Great ideas!
Ohhh dehydrate the apples is a great idea and a good hiking snack now that I think about it.
I randomly got suggested your video. Was hesistant of the idea but they looked good in the end. You have great camera presence and I'm going to watch more of your videos. I'd be ínterested if you could do a low sodium recipe two ways. I got heart problems so my saly intake is down.
Thank you for watching. That is a great idea. Any thoughts on what you would like to see us make low sodium?
@@1Dish2Ways hmmmm thats a good question ive been thinking.....baked goods seem the biggest problems for me sweets and breads....or fried foods I love fried chicken and wings
Sheila, I’m cooking SAD for my husband too. Just curious, do you feel like the things going into his diet could be killing him knowing what you know? I feel that way even though he insists on eating those things. I know some women just won’t cook for him. I’m not that way and neither are you. What are your reasons?
I cannot make anyone change so I include more of the good things for him. I make multiple veggies each night I cook, fruit for dessert or a fruit bowl to go with his weekend breakfast, raw veggies as a snack while we cook dinner. So let me show you how I put that into action: Monday - salad and peas to go with a meat he grills, peaches for dessert Tuesday - Raw celery, carrots, radishes with green beans with a meat, strawberries and grapes for dessert Wed - Asparagus and corn stir-fry with a meat, applesauce for dessert Thurs - Salad, roasted zucchini & potato with a meat, pears for dessert Fri - a big stir fry with all the veggies leftover from the week with any of his leftover meats Sat - he will make his bacon, eggs, and toast then I serve a fruit salad with strawberries, grapes, blueberries, pineapple I hope this helps.
@@1Dish2Ways you are right you can not change someone else. I’m just so frustrated that he won’t eat healthier!
Put the cheesoning on air popped popcorn and you will have no regerts!
Oh yes that is a great idea.
3-2-1 is so easy to make and remember. It is my go to now, the peanut dressing is fantastic especially knowing it has so much pop in flavor and fat free. I used the powered PB and it rocks it!! Thank you Sheila
You are welcome. Agree on the 3-2-1
LOVE THE TITLE AND IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ... love the sparkling water and flavored balsamic and love what you did to spice it up even better!
Thank you.
I saw your car on the road lol!!!😂
Same!!
Hello, where did you see us? we would love to know! I assume the car decal gave us away. Thanks for sharing and there are more videos to come. Hava a great Holiday weekend! I hope you did something fun. We spent the weekend helping Sheila's parents with chores around the house and a 50th wedding anniversary in the family. Hope we make it that long.

@@1Dish2Ways I saw you I’m Champaign I-74
So cool. Hope your enjoying the videos!
YAHOOOOOOO... THANK YOU!!!!! LOVE ALL OF THESE... the dressings and sauces make the meal!!! Yummmmm... Jalapeno mustard with any spicey flavored vinegar for 3/2/1.. I like a little of the spice... love the idea of the PB pure for the peanut dressing... Will use ALL 3!!!!
Excellent and yes jalapeno mustard adds the right amount of zing for me.
LOVE ALL OF THIS!!!!!! Can't wait to see one on Sheila's Salad Dressings!!! Great tip about the chili powder... gotta look at mine!!! AND great to remind us that 3 TBSP of yours= a taco seasoning packet!!! THIS IS SO HELPFUL!
So glad this is helpful.
What great recipes!!!! Wish I had seen Joe's face when he tried the chili... LOL!!! I have done that too... welcome back, Beth!!!
LOL It was funny.
😂
Glad you like it since you were the star of the show:)
