Flying over the top of Pine Valley Mountains has been on my bucket list for years. At over 10,000 feet, finding a day when the winds were cooperative has been a challenge. Mission accomplished! And, as a bonus, flew over the highest point in the area, Brian Head Peak Overlook at over 11,000 feet.

Absolutely stunning. The landscapes of the Southwest are probably the most fantastic in the world! I'm a FPV pilot and frequently fly similar canyons and I keep thinking how your videos resemble FPV, but you have the capability to go anywhere without the liited range or LOS issues. Of course at great risk to the pilot, but that has to be exciting. If you ever get a chance to fly at Red Rock Canyon west of Las Vegas you you should go for it, awesome canyons and ridges. Look forwartd to your next video.
Thanks! Yes, it is super exciting but I sometimes wonder where my good sense has gone, as it is very risky. An engine out would be the end in some areas. Funny you should mention Red Rock Canyon. Great video! You can get into places that I can't and can get amazing detail! I used to hang glide also in the 80s in south Florida with some time in the mountains of Tennessee.

First thank you for the great music! I wish I could have taken her on that heli ride. I spent almost 2 years in St George Utah and was able to visit Zion a few times. I took my daughter during her visit from Miami. We made a round trip around Snow Canyon to Cedar City to Zion and back to St George.and she was amazed! Utah is such a beautiful place!

beautiful video but I respectfully suggest changing the settings on your GoPro so the optical distortion (called fish-eye) is prevented. There are also lots of free software programs that will do this after the recording has been made. It will make your videos even more enjoyable.
