Do you have a dome light install? What type is lights would you use?
So im doing the exact same thing to mine and i really am stuck between getting 265/75/16 or 285/75/16 is it a noticeable difference on the truck stance. And will the 285’s make it noticeably more sluggish?
@@ponygeneral8938 I had the same dilemma. Since this is my daily and stuck with the stock rims the 265/75/R16 tires made sense for me. If I had 17inch rims I would have gone with the 33” tire equivalent. With the body lift, suspension lift, and bumper cut. My MPG took a hit about 1.7-2 mpg. If you put 33s imagine it would drop a lot more. I used to get around 18mpg city not I get around a consistent 16.5. The sluggishness would depend on how heavy/style of a tire you would get. With my setup there isn’t sluggishness it feels about right.
@@gainingaltitude1562yea man i just dont want anything that looks too small for the lift😂 but ig if i throw some spacers on there itll look the same as if i threw some 285s on there. Thanks man
@@ponygeneral8938 you can always take a look at 255/85/r16 pizza cutters! Thanks for watching! Hope you get to finish your rig!
hey so i have it ordered i have 265/70r16s on mine. Do you think i should upsize to your 75s or should keep the tires size stock?
Took my front sway bar off also, then put it back on a few days later.😬🫣
It was worth a try! No?
Did u not install bump stops...assuming u r still running OEM UCAs?
Yooo! No bump stops with this set up and yes OEM UCAs. I run a new suspension set up now!
Nice! A little confused though... Are you saying you did just the Z1 2 inch kit with that adjustable rear shackle in the 0.7 inch lower notch vs the full 1.5 inch lift? It looks higher?
All Dogs Off-road makes a kit called the RCKILLA. It’s supposed to be an alternative to lift spacers like what you’d get from rough country. It’s just new coil springs and leafs.
I have The RC-KILLA kit with the Z1 off road Adjustable Shackles set to the lowest position of 0.7 inches. Apologies for the confusion. This is why the rear looks higher.
Looks good. Nice work.
Inch wheel spacer???
Yoo, they are 1.5inch!
Why do a 1.5" in the rear and then put a shackel that adds 3/4??? Just put a two inch all the way around and be done with it
The extra height helps even the truck out when you load it up or tow!
Is this the all dogs lift that comes with kony shocks?
Hey! No, this is the All Dogs off Road set up with the Bilstine Shocks all around.
Taking front sway bar off does almost nothing for off-roading, the rear one is what you want to remove. Does very little on rd. But definitely helps off rd
I’ve noticed a big difference after adding the stiff springs in the front. With my current set up the suspension feels great. Just note you might need to get used to the added body roll. Note: my truck did not come with a rear sway bar.
Why not all dogs "parabolic" rear spring?
I like the rake ! Plus when you add a load it will balance out , especially if overlanding…where most people will carry lots of gear!
Adds 2.5 inch lift, proceeds to complain about reduced MPG 🤣Slick rig though!
Hey, I saw your video of 2.5 leveling lift kit, so I’m deciding if go with leveling kit or this spring lift kit, what do you recommend? Thank you.
Hey! If you have the money, go with the suspension lift you won’t regret it. If you need to save up, save up it’s worth it in the long run especially if you plan on keeping the truck long term. That is just my opinion after spending money and doing the work for both. -sorry for the later reply!
More light is more light pollution. Your eyes are remarkable in their ability to see in low light. One truck bed’s lights aren’t the problem though, it’s the trend for increasing outdoor lights everywhere. Light pollution at a large scale causes meaningful damage by disrupting insects, birds, reptiles, and even humans. Let’s cut back.
Hey bro i recently got a 2016 frontier, can you please let me know what size of all terrain tires you got and what paint you used to paint the rear bumper thanks.
Yooo, in this video I have 265/70 R16. I now have 265/75 R16 tires on the newer videos. Also, for painting the rear bumper I used the mat black plasti dip spray can.
Looks like you had fun
Love your truck, bro. I saw the 5100s in the back. What shock and spring setup did you use in the front?. OEM springs? Somany option for the front i can't decide on a set up since i put the Nismo UCA. Thanks in advance
Yoooo thanks! Im currently running the “all dogs off road medium springs 2”inch lift ” they are definitely stiffer than the factory ones. That’s why I took off the front sway bar. Then I’m running the 5100s with the shocks at the Lowest height setting. Since you have the the Nismo upper control arms you could run a half inch spacer sold by all dogs off road to get a 2.5 inch lift (combined) in the front with out sacrificing too much of the ride quality. That’s the route I would personally go but I never bought the after market upper control arms. i replaced the rough country 2.5 inch spacer lift I had, and I wanted to limit the amount of coil bucket contact I was getting with my new lift.
. Thanks bro. Keep on trucking
Looks very nice!! On you fog light install. Do they turn off when you use your high beams?
Hey @AlexSagisi, yes unfortunately they do turn off but it saved me having to wire a new switch. Also, they only turn on with the head lights, and I can’t use them while the parking lights are on.
Thanks. I wanna wire mine where I can leave them on. On my commute to work I use my high beams a lot but suck that the dogs cut out when in high beam.. the low beam as well turns off too
Looks just like Moog
Got a 2019 sv 4x4 with a leveling kit, what’s your overall lift with what you have? I have similar grill lights that I haven’t installed do you have a video on that
Hey, i have 2inch lift springs in the front the. The rear add a leaf and a the Z1 off road shackle lift in the rear on the (low setting) is 2.25 inches. Then the 2 inch body lift all the way around. 4 inches in the front and 4.25 on the rear. No video on the grill lights but I can make one showing my process.
@@gainingaltitude1562 Thanks that would be awesome. I guess my next question, hopefully it doesn’t sound dumb. Can I add a 2” body lift along with the leveling kit I have? I’m not wanting to do a 6” suspension lift cause I like my 16 in rims
Yeah you can definitely add the 2 inch body lift no problem! Be sure the kit you buy comes with an extended radiator hose. The kit All-Dogs off road sells has it. That’s how I felt, I wanted to keep my 16inch rims and it definitely turned out better than expected. JUST REMEMBER when you do the body lift in the front part of the cab be careful not to damage the wiring harness on passenger side. If you have more questions Just let me know!
@@gainingaltitude1562 Great, thanks! I’ll definitely get back to you if I have any questions
I replace the cargo with Auxito and nine months later they were flickering like crazy, so yanked them and replaced with a different brand. Not impressed. For the center brake I used a PUTCO plasma bulb.
Yeah, I had to replace my Auxito lights a few time from the flickering issue. So far the newest ones I’ve used have lasted for almost a year now. I’m glad you found something better that is working for you!
You showed more detail installing lug nuts. I was looking for lift kit detail.
If you have question about the lift just let me know. (NOTE) I no longer have this lift installed as I’ve installed a new one.
What new lift did you install?@@gainingaltitude1562
Nice truck I bought a 2019 recently sv 4x4
You have the 2.5inch spacers?
Yes, in this video I have the 2.5 inch spacers in the front and the 1.5 shackle lift in the rear.
Bro! That’s a nice truck!
Sick truck bro, and love your enthusiasm lol
Luv it

That drive is scenic..
It sure is. The early morning drive was well worth it! Thanks for watching!
Hello Can I get the link to order this lift kit, how much lift is this?
Great work on your Frontier.... I've got an 18' CC SB SV 2WD and am installing my 2 inch mikellis lift soon....with the add a leafs and the shackle in the back..did you have to modify the driveshaft/carrier bearing or pinion angle?....Thanks!
Hey @trevorleeanderson, thanks for checking out the vid! No need to modify any of the steering components. All had to do before installing the body lift (Driver Side) was loosen the 2 steering shaft bolts. The one inside the engine bay and underneath the steering wheel. Once the body lift spacers were installed I tightened them down. Here is the link with the image: www.clubfrontier.org/threads/body-lift-shaft-extension-help.203617/
Thanks again!@@gainingaltitude1562

Good info, love the views of the Three Gossips in Arches NP at the end. Brings back many memories of living in Moab.
Make sure it's a Nissan couse Toyota is not very strong in internal parts for the transfer cases
Do you get coil bucket contact on dirt roads?
Hey @rodriguez1616, It honestly depends on the condition of the road. on Fire roads or back roads no coil bucket contact. I get more coil bucket contact on speed bumps. So far my stock upper control arms are still in good shape. Thanks for watching!
What’s the part number?
Looks good !
Thanks!
Looks sexy! Did you have to unbolt the steering shaft to make slack when install them? Also did you have to get brake line extenders and a fuel filler neck extender? I bought the same kit and I just want everything ready. Again bro nice truck!
Hey @KamiroCinco thanks for watching! Yes for the body lift before installing the cab body spacers I “loosened” (not unbolted) both steering shaft points . The one on the driver side and under the steering wheel. Be sure not to turn your steering wheel. No need for brake line extenders or a fuel filler neck for my year of truck. All I did was loosen the two bolts that hold down the filler neck. Lastly I Replaced the upper radiator hose with the longer one from the kit. I hope your project goes well!
Thanks brother! I ordered the same kit you have! After seeing your setup I knew what direction what im heading.
Pneu ?
Tire? Goodyear Ultra Terrain size: 265/75 R16
I just purchased after market tail lights as well and after installing them I also notice a gap on mine, did you have issues with water going inside the taillight assembly?
Hey @miguelcervantes1360, so far I haven't had any issues with water entering the assembly its self. They seem to be holding up decent. After a good rain I'll check and see if there is moisture inside the bulb housing.
Looks very nice bro I like it I'm gonna do mine this weekend thanks for your video
Hey @brauliocarrillo3348, did you manage to get it done? If so how did it turn out?
Why would you mess that bumper up for a 2” lift?
cuz the sPaCE sHiP tOLeD mE. DuHh
Do you mind getting back to me on which mount you used for the tow hooks?
Hey @danielkindle2433, I have an other video talking about the mounting points and where to get them. They were shipped and sold by nisstec; however, other viewers have noticed that the webpage to buy them is no longer up.
What size shackles are those?
Why not titan swap?
Hey @peyten3237, I thought about it, but for how I use the truck daily it didn't make much sense. Thanks for watching!
My goal lately has been to go up four inches in the front and install a small leveling kit in the rear so that way I could have the bed squatting down a little with most of the higher ride height in the front. I also love how simple the body trimming looks on the stock front bumper slightly cut up on yours it looks very good and clean. I'm just about to hit 53k on mine as well and after owning this truck for the last three years I love it. My main goal is to eventually turn my frontier into an overland rig. I feel that these frontier don't get the love and appreciation that they truly deserve.
I did mine too. But I still need to do my bed lights.
Why didn’t you remove the sway bar links?
Hey, I thought that I would end up putting the sway bar back on.... But I never did, the next time I'm under the truck I'll end up removing them.
Very good info on the Frontier. Thank you
Hello @ismaelgonzalez1288, thanks for watching!
