Best Harlem Shake Video Ever! Where is my Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits?
that BS watch it again... he says he sands with 800 after he uses the grain puck... when you sand, you take away the grain... also after he mixes with e cream hardener , hes in the sun, anyone who does autobody work knows that material dries quick... is is a joke... also after you use the grain puck theres no sanding... you leave the grain.....people just look for a nice used dash or go for the new... there out there, just search....
i am going with the dash mat.
I have use the dash cap and done the right way it looks very good ! You have to look close the really tell !
Beautiful job friend. What do I need to do for a straight hairline long crack? It’s so straight u can barely see the crack, so I think it would be an easy fix.
Wow nice 👍 😬job thank you for sharing 😬
Low quality repair low quality video .... product looked like it was from the dollar store...
looks like a scam product...repair is shown far away...cause it looks like crap
Soooo what about the smooth edges you just created....
Nice trick with the lighting on the before and after shot. I don’t buy it!!
Everyone is gonna know.. lol
same spot from a totally different angle and different light reflexion make it very suspicious........ by the way when you removed the texture pad there was a section that did not get the texture. I m not saying that you cannot do it but you need to show accurately the results.
"Castin' Craft Mold Builder" available at your local craft store.. Google it. You guys can thank me later
Thanking you.
The. The other parts will crack. Pay the money and get a proper restoration most people out there skimp on the interior of their cars. If you go into a restoration either do it right A-Z or don’t do it at all.
#YAY# - Amen
I'm sorry but I'm calling bs on the "100 point restoration on this dash" comment. You can tell the camera person strategically took pics of the dash at angles where you wouldn't see the texture, or lack of texture in the repair area. you can also tell the texture did not get applied to the entire area of repair when the sponge looking thing was removed. anyone watching this should be skeptical.
Not
I used a 50/50 mix of fiberglass resin and bondo each with their respective hardeners... of course I prepped it first made grooves where the cracks were. Filled with the mixture and sanded... repeated if necessary. Then I matched the pattern of the rest of the dash... finally paint... came out flawless
I know Im kinda off topic but do anyone know of a good place to stream newly released series online ?
@Louis Kane Flixportal :D
@Dariel Mathias Thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it !
@Louis Kane You are welcome xD
Amazing
Amazingly wrong! There is no way that that dash looked flawless in the end. Been doing things like this for 30+ years, and I can promise you that the way it was done, it does not look flawless. If it was flawless, they would have taken the before and after pictures from the exact same angle. Plus, you can clearly see that there is no texture in areas before it is painted, thus the different camera angle.
I'm thinking drywall plaster would work ok
Malisimo!!!
How did you took this dashboard out of the car?
This is a b******* ass video
nice
Its a form of body filler .you can tell by the hardner
Take the before and after picture in the same spot.. next time
haha . true true. the before and after shots show different sides. this guy cannot be very serious.
Exactly
How do you expect to keep that texture after sanding?
its not perfect but looks good
ummmmm...busted
Impressive.
Hi, feels great after seing this video, how can i order ? kindly guide me further
Great video but how much for the kit and what's included??
The kit includes: Pro Mold A&B (Molding compound to reproduce original grain) Pro Dough 1000 (Filler) Pro Clean (Dash cleaner) The kits come in three standard sizes: Small- $59.99 (2.0 Ounces Of Pro Dough 1000 Filler) Medium- $79.99 (4.0 Ounces Of Pro Dough 1000 Filler) Large- $99.99 (6.0 Ounces Of Pro Dough 1000 Filler)
Steve Prokopiak thanks for the reply how can I purchase this kit I'm actually looking around to see what to use to restore my dash on a 79 camaro.. really appreciate it
I would have liked to see an exact shot of the before and after. The after didn't even look like the before photo.
That is because the crack was repaired. I can send you high quality close-up before and after images.
yeah, right. 100 point resto means you can't tell where it was repaired. before and after pics should be the exact same view.
Exactly, you repaired a particular area of the dash and then showed a distant picture at an angle that clearly doesn't show the repaired area and then a picture of the opposite end of the dash that wasn't repaired! This reminds me of the commercials these days that take everybody for a fool! We're grownups not little children!
My exact thought too. I say bullshit on a perfect repair. You could see that there were areas without any texture after he textured it in the 'before paint' picture, so you know there isn't going to be any texture after it's painted. Plus, the cracking sticks up on the edges of the cracks, so that would need to be knocked down in order to get a 'looks as good as the day it was made' look. No way!
Interesting - cost?
