oh yeah, I hate when my meteor65 starts wobbling, and even messing with fc because of a tiny crack in the propguards. that's the biggest downside of a tinywhoop for me :D also, I found out that putting a heatshrink on the crack decreases vibrations

Need to find a parking structure I think to really learn it. Those are the videos I watched that it seems like they were able to really find the right angles and figure it out, cause they have something to look at and track themselves with.

I think you need some expo so your movements don't look so glitchy

if you do the inverted yaw slower it looks better and its easier cause you get less acceleration towards the ground if you yaw spin 2 of your motors are spinning up creating lift in the process aswell so if you do a slow yawspin you "fall" slower acutally and if you do the inverted yaw rewind you get that effect even more cause of the direction change

Matty flips are on a different level than a lot of the other tricks we tend to learn first. Don't get discouraged. Practicing over a nice grass field is the best place and you'll find your quad can take grass pretty well. I lost track of how many frames I destroyed when learning to Matty, because I (like a moron) learned by doing Matty's around power lines above my street... lol If you want an alternate place to try this, you might consider the stadium lights there in that park, hear me out lol. Instead of going over>under the obstacle when practicing, you can do the trick off to the side of the lights and just keep the lights in your view at the edge of your video. Then just fly "over" (so the lights would be in the lower right or lower left of your view) then begin to rotate forward when you are parallel to, but higher than, the lights and finish the trick with the lights in the upper right or left side of your goggles, if that makes sense. You'll have more room for error and it will also help you to practice keeping your Matty's tight with the obstacle in frame.

Good stuff sir. Two things that helped me with this trick were 1) Do the juicy flick as you are flying over a distinct object. like a goal post or that pole. This helps you to have a target to focus on/aim for as you are cork-screwing back. 2) I have found it easier to travel forward when you are doing the cork-screw when I get as close to completely upside down during the flip without going completely inverted, and then if you notice you are cork-screwing in place you can pitch forward slightly when you are upright in the roll. Hope this might help

Dam i miss flying so bad. FPV❤️ The best way to pull the cube off is to make the entirety of the trick into one clean move. Battery can and does affect every characteristic of the quad. Great flying 👍

i kinda like to flip out of it the other way i do it like this juciy flick - little pause with throttle punsh (very small)- 180° roll - 180° backflip

I've been practicing these a lot in sims, I get the basic moves but I'm not fast at them.

Do you think having a high ff helps with this trick? I've been struggling to get them fast. What rates do you have? You seem to do rolls a lot faster than me and I'm already at like 1000 rate, but almost no ff.
