@DecksmithMTG did you see how I made a thin rectangle border right at the edge going around the whole card? Then in the cutting software you select everything (including that border) and size it all to a magic card size (2.5 inches by 3.5 inches).

I didn't even know they had the first one on NES...and here I was back then playing things like Excitebike and Duck Hunt when I could have been playing Final Fantasy! Can you play that these days on an emulator or something?

@@NinjaNerdcraft yes use an emulator or u can get retro-handhelds. theres a whole sceen there haha or the Final Fantasy game pack on steam is another option.

Glad you like them! The VHS one still works for MTG, just for a regular 60 card deck rather than a commander one. And that Stranger Things deck box I actually made to fit an MTG commander deck, I just haven't quite finished the design yet. But hopefully it should be done soon!

@@Meltyhead not really a common thing, even among magic players. But within the Magic art, alter and artist proof community it’s more common. This collection is really tame compared to some other people’s collections in those communities. Prices can definitely go high for some of these alters/cards/artwork, from a few hundred up to even thousands of dollars depending.

I’ve used a handful of different companies, but some of them are not great quality (thin) and others take a long time to make/ship. The one I used for this playmat was great quality and pretty fast as well: amzn.to/3yJnF1T

If the transfer tape is new the vinyl will stick to it easier. I find that after using it a few times it becomes harder to make it stick. In those cases I have a plastic scraper I use to press the vinyl to the transfer tape to make it stick better. That usually works for me before peeling it off with the transfer tape.
