I love ❤️ this
This is sick thanks for showing it, never knew it existed.
Literally the worst hard hat I have ever worn, very uncomfortable very. If you are required to wear a type 2 hard hat go with the Studson!!!! I have personally worn a MSA for the last 24 years, tried the wavecel on are job site, everyone hated it , studson is the more comfortable and better all around.
Why did you disliked it ?
@ the fit and the liner was very uncomfortable
@@shanescott671 Do you recommend another brand/model? I cannot use the Studson as it is not CSA
I love you Landry
Woooo
Follow up , after months of wearing this contraption a coworker set his wavecell on a trash can mounted to the outhouse , probably about chest height , when he came out of the outhouse his wavecell was on the ground, the wavecell had fallen off the trash can the back vent cap had popped out and the hat itself was cracked, not an isolated incident as another coworker took off his hat and dropped it on the concrete from chest height 2 times with the same exact result. Not good.
I would like the opportunity to speak to you about these. I am ordering them for our training program here in Washington State. They are 5 hours away from us. I love the product and as manager I want to provide the easiest transition into this new standard as OSHA has officially taken the stance to go this route. A TYPE II Class 3 z89 rated hardhat makes it easier to sell to Ironworkers and carpenters.
This is not a hard hat , it is a contraption. This guy must work for wavecell, been wearing for six months , this is the most uncomfortable torture device ever forced upon my head , makes a busy 8 hour day feel like a slow 12 hour day with bosses watching. The adjustment dial has a knob on the inside covered with thin plastic that drills into the back of my skull to my brain , the back of my head is raw. The hat sits high on my head and feels like its going to fall off if I don't crank it tight. This thing sits directly on your head no shock absorption if you take a blow you will feel it for sure , if you take a side blow your head will move with the hit, I don't see how these are even legal. The accessory clips on the side get caught on orange fencing and on wires or any thing that will fit in the groove. The ones with the chin strap are even more dangerous can get caught on rebar or even be potentially fatal if rigging fails and catches the strap. Strap breaks at 24 lbs , 23,lbs can do some damage. For the price of one dangerous hat you can get 8 reliable fibermetal hats. There's your honest review thumbs down.
Nope. Don't work for the company. I've been using it for over a year now. There are good and bad points. It holds sweat and stinks like nobody's business pretty quick. I clean the foam weekly and use a head beanie to combat this problem. Other issue is the vent cover. It's fragile. Mine broke in a similar fashion as the other guy but Wavecel folks are top notch. They replaced the whole helmet not just the vent. That kind of service is what makes me a lifetime customer. As for wearability, it is very comfortable imo. That's subjective though. We have a lot of guys wearing these at work now. It's more likes I believe than dislikes. It's not as cool (ventilated) as suspension hats but your trading that for safety? If I worked outside 100% of the time i may have to find something a little lighter and cooler but I'm ok with that. I appreciate our country and happy it's 100% USA designed and made.

😂 certainly don't work for Wavecel however I still like my hat. There are a few caveats however, as you mentioned it does sit rather high in the head. The guys I work with say it looks like a safari hat. Lol. Also after using mine thru summer and winter, I have to admit it does get hot and starts to smell rank after a few days absorbing all the sweat into the foam padding. I remedy this by having replacement pads I swap out and wash the other every couple of days. In retrospect, I think that it's still a safe hat and fairly comfortable but in the next gen they could take these things into consideration. By the way, fiber metal only carry a type 1 rating which for some industries just won't suffice. There are other choices now on the market that do have a type 2 rating so it really comes down to personal preference.
Are the side pieces for the accessories removable?
Im about to get one👍🏻

Weirdo
Does rain/snow get into the vents?
Get non vented for winter?
What could you say about using it in the rain? I live in Oregon, we have 3 seasons, summer, winter and rainy season. Hahah. If you don't work in the rain you really don't work.
The vents on the back are designed to reflect the water.
Same f’n Oregon lol
Hi @markbroad119 and @cliftonking5 Thank you for your question. As fellow Oregonians, we understand the challenges of working in the rain. That's why we made sure to design the WaveCel Hard Hat with features that address this concern. The vents on the back of the hard hat are specifically designed to reflect water, keeping you protected and dry during Oregon's rainy season. So you can work confidently and comfortably, no matter the weather!
Well the company is from Oregon so I hope they made it for the rain. I work mostly indoors so...
Slayyyyytyy🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
I just got mine. Feels good. Also they really should provide a chin strap. I had to order it extra. They improved the front forehead padding. This company is responsive. There is some fine print (microscopic print) under the screw down tension adjustment knob.
I think your gonna like it.
Ordered for oilfield work.
Nice. Hope you like it. It's different and people will ask what it is alot. It gets a lot of questions.
Cute😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤

Check out the on the job review video.
How’s the depth of the hard hat?
@@KeyyyLB About 3 inches. The profile is smaller but feels like most hard hats when wearing it except for the wonderful comfort. Also the cell material is much stiffer than I thought it would be. I thought it would be like gel. One Inch of rigid vertical waved honeycone material to absorb the shock.
So cool I have a breeding pair of angels too
