@@LeLo-dg4iy I see another video coming showing the results of baking in my bread machine & I did think of that too but the reason I don’t bake it in the bread machine is because it needs to rise twice and on the dough cycle that I was using in my machine it only rises once. The other reason is that I like my starter in the bread to rise slowly for flavour and I like to bake my sour dough in different shapes other than what my bread machine provides. These days I make a huge long loaf that easy to make sandwiches out of. I can see some new videos of my sour dough baking coming soon. Stay tuned. Thanks for dropping by & commenting.

@@LeLo-dg4iy stay tuned. I’ll get onto making one soon. I’m currently baking a loaf in the oven now in my most favourite shape, a long sandwich loaf tin. It works out really good & so easy to cut. Hubby loves it and I do too. 😊❤️

Thank you for the tip. The method I’m using to keep the starter active has worked a few times now. 25g starter, 50 g flour & 70 mls water. It doubles in about 10 hours or less now. The recipe I used to make the bread with was another’s recipe which I won’t use again. Far too wet. I have made another loaf using my own recipe using the left over active starter (I hate waste) which turned out well. But thanks for the tip and dropping in a comment. I’m only new at sour dough making and I find it an interesting and fun skill to have. 😊🌻

Yes I love to see them run free in the yard but they make such a mess!! They run up to me which is so funny to watch, especially the big rooster! I can get them all to follow me with food ( bread is their favorite). I look a bit like the Pide Piper except I’ve got chickens following me. Hubby says it’s so funny to watch. I love my chickens. They’ve got so much personality, each & everyone one of them.

As far as I know we don’t need to trim their feet. They’re Dorpa’s so we don’t even need to shear them! They shed their coats. They are so cute. They’re beginning to baa at me when they see me in the yard and are getting more used to me. I think in time I’ll be able to get them to feed out of my hand. They’re still young, only 8 months old so hopeful that’s young enough to work on their fears. They’ve got such cute faces and such big beautiful eyes!!! I love them 😍

I agree. Praise God for the rain. Don’t think those fires will be an issue anymore! Probably have floods now. 😂 but it usually goes drought, fire & then flood.

Thank you Liz. It was one of the hardest and saddest videos I’ve had to make. I wanted to tell Brooke’s story as she’s been with us for 20 of the 21 years we’ve been here. It was like losing a member of our family. We miss her very much. She was such a friendly sweet horse. All so sudden and a shock because we thought she’d be around for a lot longer. She was a tough old girl. I agree we groan with creation. Some days more than others. ✝️

His glory and handywork can always be seen in the heavens and the skies above as Psalm 19 says. One day I’ll share what I believe God showed my as to why He has the colours of the rainbow ordered in the sequence He has with Red first from His viewpoint ending in Violet with Green in the middle. Have you ever wondered why He ordered the colours that way? I did so I asked Him and I believe He showed me why. And we know there’s 7 colours too! Shows me that God is a God of colour. We can see that in His creation. Wonderful hues of all 7 colors everywhere. Glad you find the garden a slice of heaven. Yes there is. He’s a rooster but only half Australorp. I ended up with 5 roosters! Sexing baby chicks is difficult.

Thank you…..I agree the chooks were sooooo funny!! They’ve all got their own personalities. I can’t get over how stressed they were with the nesting box changes. But they’re settled now and laying in them without all that noise and worry.

I can’t believe we took 1.5 hours to get to the car 🙈😱 funny now, at times there were a few frustrating moments 🤣🤣🤣

It’s extremely sad. The hen house doesn’t seem the same. Missing him terribly. I can tell the girls also miss him. Still unsure why he died as he was very healthy. It could have been a heart attack judging by how I found him in the chicken pen. I’m not sure I’ll ever replace him. He was so friendly and loved to interact with me. 😢

It really is all about trusting Jesus that He died fir our sins and rose from the dead according to the scriptures. Faith alone in Christ alone plus NOTHING. Yes do good works afterwards but never think that they are what get you to enter heave s gates.
