The HS-8 are very articulate in the higher frequencies which lends itself to good monitoring when listening for source recording and high frequency quality when mixing... The IN-8's can do the same function with perhaps less listener fatigue... In either case, the engineer must know what his monitors do to the sound to get balanced sound and mixes...

I love to know that folks appreciate something, regardless of what it is, as long as it is not something harmful or wicked. Therefore, I am going to be a butt-in-sky and suggest: "Ain't No Grave." I think it is on the same album as this song. It is a very very old song, -simple and kind of in the family with Swing Low Sweet Sweet Chariot. So, if you get a chance. give it a listen. David really touches a lot of folks with his singing. He is not always serious, but I love how he sings not to show an audience all his talents...of course he does, but his primary goal is to glorify God and edify the people ...with his talents and devotion. I have albums wherein he and the other singers are shown at ease, and he seemed shy. I have never met him. But I am aware that is also a carpenter and his kids and wife seem devoted to him and he to them. God bless him, and you too. Nice of you to play these pieces and comment for us. It increases my appreciation for music which is a big thing in my life.

I've got one of these on the way. Hardly any info on them and only a few videos. I played an A6 Ultra and loved it but it was 2k bucks. It felt like it was worth that but it was more than I wanted to pay. I also played a Taylor T5z pro and it played fantastic and built well/looked great but way more expensive than what I wanted to pay. Fender acoustisonic was great too but didn't feel like a $2000 guitar. The built in fishman Aura system doing the acoustic modeling in the fenders is really cool but their Aura spectrum pedal does the same thing and more so I didn't feel like the fenders were worth it JUST to get that built in. I've been doing our band shows with my Martin GPC Aura GT which is absolutely fantastic and sounds killer and has a GREAT Fishman Aura microphone modeling preamp in it but that thing is so uncomfortable to play for 2~3 hours and like you said, even though it has a cutaway, I can't really do lead work the way I can on an electric or any of the 3 guitars mentioned above.

i fully relate to the strings. I just got a Gibson LP P90 (you can check my channel) and it had Ernie Balls, loved it...then changed to Elixir Optiwebs....and the tone is altered to the point that it's annoying to the ear. So yea...PRS Classic strings or Ernie ball for me going forward. Maybe D'addarios from time to time.
