    does it only ask for instructors number when you log a training dive? i can't find it and i'm trying to log a recreational one

    • @underwateradventuresdiveclub
      @underwateradventuresdiveclub 8 днів тому

      Yes, you don't have to dive with an instructor when you are doing fun dives so you might not have an instructor's number to put down. The easy way to keep a record of who you have been diving with if it's not a course you are on is to make a note in the comments section on that log of your dive buddy and their diver number, you can even add a picture of you and your buddy after the dive if you like.

    This is actually what I've been doing over the years, and it's quite helpful! I just have one issue: if I ever do a course that requires, say, having already done 100 dives, won't it be necessary some type of signature or stamp? Because I could have logged 100 dives without having done any!

    • @underwateradventuresdiveclub

      Anyone can sign a logbook, Paper or digital, we just have to trust that people realize that it is not in their own interest to lie about the diving they have done. The logbook system is based on honesty.

    Why is everyone finning like their in current

    • @underwateradventuresdiveclub
      @underwateradventuresdiveclub 5 місяців тому

      Students on their Advanced open water course are still new to scuba diving and have not had the time underwater to build up the experience you obviously have, and thus their finning technique is still being worked on. You can't learn everything instantly, we are not in the Matrix where we can't instantly download skills into our brains.

    Such a great, atmospheric film, many thanks and your choice of music really went well with the dive footage! I have recently discovered this amazing former quarry after getting in to open water swimming in my 50's and love to swim there, and often wonder as I see the surface bubbles of you divers way below what strange things you are exploring while I am up on the surface, have watched quite a few youtube vids from here, but this one really stands out, if you didn't know where Stoney Cove was you could easily believe this was filmed off the coast of the UK somewhere. Regards guys, and all the best!

      That is what we do most years, if it's a big group of you I suggest booking into a restaurant as we normally end up at the hard rock Cafe due to not being able to get in anywhere for dinner. You might also want to take a look at TODI ua-cam.com/video/qFWpTY_dbEs/v-deo.html if you are staying for a couple of days. it's about 60km outside Brussels but a really good experience if you can make it there.
