Somebody had asked to see my garage (toad). Well, here it is in all its glory. Most of my equipment and tools are second hand, and stuff I have collected over my lifetime. My garage is not clean, nor will it ever be, but there is a method to the madness.

We decided to rip out the existing metal work in the bed and start completely over. I was not happy with the existing progress. It was ugly and band aided together. We are getting closer to getting all panels fully supported.

    Really awesome!! A few years ago they did away with all the distributor/magneto testers. Would you be able to check and see if they still have any at the school before they get tossed in the dumpster. I just missed one by a couple days and I was very sad about that. Fantastic garage. It show you are very busy!!

    All I see is the welds breaking and someone is decapitated Not your welds, but the welds that hold the blades together they frequently snap Also the tension looks a little loose the blade should be a lot stiffer

      This was a test run. It's got a shroud now and have used it quite a bit. Yes, tension was not quite there yet. No decapitations in the 2 years yet. Thanks for tuning in.

    2:15 I have yet to pick up an old worm. I used to work with a couple of them years ago. They were good to cross cut 4'. But I digress.. There was one for sale in Jersey last week for $10 bucks. I didn't think it would last. One of these days I'll spot a good deal at a yard sale....I hope.

    • @v8packard
      @v8packard 2 місяці тому

      @@BradonOliver Depending on the type of supercharger, a 108 lobe separation angle with typical street cam specs used with a positive displacement supercharger will, literally, let a bunch of the boost out the exhaust during overlap at low to mid range speeds. With a centrifugal supercharger you could get by with the 108 lobe separation angle because the centrifugal isn't producing much boost at low engine rpm, but the compromise is the 108 lobe separation angle closes the intake valve earlier in the cycle compared to a wider lobe separation angle, reducing your volumetric efficiency at high speeds under boost.
