Satanist here, a common misconception is that satanists are just edgelords who don't understand the inverted cross is a symbol of St Peter (some probably do but there's more to Satanism). There's different types of satanism the most prominent being atheistic which is essentially atheism in the lack of belief in a deity and satan is purely symbolic of free will and individuality. There are also several types of theistic satanism like the temple of Set, first church of satan, our lady of endor coven and the order of 9 angels (though this group has been heavily controversial as the leader is a far right political extremist)

I've seen people compare Hazbin Hotel and Doom a lot. I dont get why since theyre completely different in theor usage of the bible. Whole Doom does change some things around from the bible for its story, it keeps thing relatively the same and never twists anything to be shown in a brighter light. For instance, in Doom we learn that The Dark Lord (Its version of satam) actually came before The Father, which is different from the Bible hiwever the result is still the same. The Dark Lord was once a normal fogure who became corrupted and evil who was casted out and into hell alongside his followers by The Father. This is slightly different but never at all makes it feel like they're simply taking from another fairytale. Hazbin Hotel doesn't do this, multiple thingsbare changed from the bible and all of these changes twist the satanic aspects into something good, lioe the idea that Lucifer is a good person, or the fact that sinners who have already gone to hell can be redeemed. Niether are perfect renditions of the Bible but one clearly cares more about respecting the religious natire of the Bible no matter if the makers of the story are religious or not.

Ok, i understand the joke here, but Satanism is really interesting if viewed through a clear lense. (And to the angry christians thay wanna say lucifer is the root of evil) First, most satanists dont belive in a kitteral satan, only in ehat he represents, freedom, rebellion against a system once doesnt believe in. And second, the true root of all evil is the one thay created evil, and we all know who the creator is in Christianity.
