I just bought one of these as my first bass and I'm loving it. I tried a few others at the music store (major chain) and as soon as I picked the Ibanez up I was impressed by how light it was and even more impressed by how easy it was to play. I have zero experience with bass and have just started learning to play (in my 50's) but I knew right away that this was the bass for me. I would highly recommend it for anyone starting out.

I love the way the maple fretboard looks on the warrior. I have two of the js32 warriors, one white one black. They don't have the maple fretboard though. What are your thoughts on this compared to the js series?

I have an Ibanez GIO GRGR221PA_AQB and it sounds incredible, it`s sound is unique ,it blew my mind. I wish to get that guitar too as i always loved that model. I know that it`s hard to find one. I was going to change it`s pickups at first but no way it sounds too good,i`ll leave it as it is. My Jackson guitars I really love a lot but the Ibanez GIO is unique love it too much . I recommend it to anyone as well as Jackson guitars. I feel happy just by looking at them.

That guitar looks bad ass! The one thing that gets me is that when people review these guitars they judge them based on a guitar that would cost 3 to 4 times as much. It's a $300 guitar. It is what it is. Guitars in the lower price range will be like this. Has been for years. The quality of lost cost instruments has improved over the past 50 years but for what you are paying you need to expect flaws and screw ups. If you know how to fix all the issues yourself then you can have one killer guitar at a lower cost. If you don't know the ins and outs of repairing and setting up instruments, then you are the fool for purchasing something that you have no control over. Country of origin does not mean jack anymore. I remember when people would say 40 years ago that Japanese guitars were junk because they were not American made. I have a several 70's Japanese Les Paul copies from Burny, Tokia, Ibanez and Aria, Aria Pro II. After a good set up and some modifications, they are awesome to play. It all depends on the factory and how well they perform at their job. I know one American factory that has produced crap for the past 55 years. Goes by the slogan: play authentic..............
