sharing with you our first cherry blossom experience in Japan. Since it was our first time visiting this beautiful country and we wanted to make most out of it, I wasn’t able to take videos properly (mostly, I took videos on portrait mode). I want to have some remembrance to look back, so I decided to create this japan diaries (oh wow hahaha). I will be sharing our travel deets here as well.
Day 1 deets:
From Kansai Airport going to Namba, we took the Nankai Line Airport Express which was very convenient and took us only 30-35 minutes travel. Here’s the link:

We booked our pocket wifi thru Klook. Although with this link, I think they are now offering e-sim already. Here’s the link:

For the hotel accommodation, we stayed at Hotel Naniwa (which is “Miro Hotel” now.) This hotel is just few minutes walk to Dotonbori. Here’s the link:

For your train tickets (not including Airport Express train and Shinkansen), if you are an apple user, you may just add Suica (travel card) on your wallet. No need to buy the physical card.
Day 1 itinerary:
- Departure from Singapore via Scoot: 06:35 AM (SGT)
- Arrival at Kansai International Airport (Osaka) : 01:30 PM (JST)
- Arrival at Hotel: 4:02 PM (JST)
- Dinner at Gyukatsu Motomura (4/5)
- Evening stroll at Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori (don’t forget to take your photo at the famous Glico sign)
We tried the ff: on our first day:
- famous 10 cheese yen (3/5)
- takoyaki from Kukuru (3/5)
- the strawberry tanghulu is to die for (most especially the strawberry itself, ahhh still drooling over this) (1M/5)
- cremia cream (5/5)
Before we went home, we dropped by at 7/11 to buy yakult like in a box (4/5 reco from JM Banquicio) and the Ohayo Brûlée (5/5 for me since I am a sweet tooth girlie)
