The prank scene with chris was one of my major critiques with the game, it just felt out of character and like a cheap move to make a 'scary' moment

I never noticed how much it actually changed them. I saw a vid today that basically said jess is confident and in the credits scene she seems so... not there, that she cant really explain much of anything. And by the gods did emily make me absolutely hate her. I wasnt too mad in my first playthrough when she died

When i first played until dawn, it was 2016, i had just started working a few months prior and my coworker was like im gonna sell some of my games and a headset. This was one of the games. And i played it after he explained what it was like, and i was pretty shooketh to say the least. I wanna say i killed almost everybody. Like 3 people lived. And jess and ash were guaranteed deaths. (It took forever to not have jess die) and also josh. I was like woah man, this was amazing. And the amount of hours i spent playing when i wasnt working was unhealthy even for a fresh hs graduate. But i never found all the totems or info. To this day i replay it so much just trying to find all of the stuff in the game

I had to leave kenny, clem and aj needed a chance to survive. Plus it leaves kenny a chance to survive too

The thing I really hated about this game was the gaslighting. Yeah, no one meant for those two girls to die from that prank, but not a single person who was in on it showed any remorse or even shame from what happened that night. The psychologist called it "A stupid little mistake." On the anniversary of their deaths, Mike and Jessica were throwing snowballs at each other, having a jolly old time. And somehow, the game wants you to see them as the heros while their brother is the villain? These people are garbage, and they all had it coming. What goes around comes around. I laughed when Jessica told Mike about how insecure she is😂😂 As if the viscious prank she set up didn't make that obvious enough.

I always laugh at peoples description and opinion of Larry when plating through the game yet, they're Never able to go through with helping Kenny taking him out in the cold room 😂

This was a wonderful review, I really enjoyed your takes on things and I agreed with so much that you've had to say. I would love to see you cover the second game.

Many people I've heard complaining that the game is full of cliché horror movie tropes, but I don't see how it's bad! Yes, maybe it is predictable for people who watch a lot of horror (unlike me), but I think that tropes are good if there is a good reasoning and if it is well thought out without plot holes. I think the game made a pretty good job at making the story not hard enough to not be able to predict what certain choices will bring and yet still keep a few twists in the plot and some rather surprising deaths.

Sadly I lost Jess and Mike. Jess because I was too cautious trying to save her. Mike because I didn't let him have the flare gun. Otherwise I think I did a pretty damn good job saving everyone. ... ... And then I got a little too trigger happy during the finale and blew up everyone but Chris at the last minute.

I got chris killed cuz I kept trying to kill Ashley, I got Matt saved by being assertive and getting flare gun, I got Jessica killed cuz I didn't take the fast route, I got Ashley killed by following the fake voice of Jess, and then I got Mike and Sam killed by screwing up the end and getting Sam got and Mike blew up the house but Emily had ran out of the house before so I only survived with Matt and Emily my first play through cuz I missed the butterfly tattoo for Josh and Hannah womp womp lol

Not gonna play Captain Hindsight with the choices made, but I am curious how many totems you found/which ones. Some are super useless but some help you triangulate (along with in-game lore) what the right choice is. #Justice4Emily 😂

please continue these retrospectives for the other games, just watched this and the previous video in succession and loved the way you went about them, its clear how much effort went into making these and the love you have for the games. the walking dead games mean so much to me and watching these reminded me of that, and would love to see more from you!!
