The weather report was calling for an extreme cold snap, so in preparation I gathered a weeks worth of fire wood and by this time the supply was running low. This winter i am gathering fire wood as needed, the polar vortex brought bitterly cold temperatures exceeding -30 C
This is how much fire wood i burn in a week roughly, I burn less than you would expect due to the efficient design of my wood stove, that I built my self. I am burning primarily dead standing Fir that has been dead for a good part of 10 years, needless to say it is extremely well seasoned!
