The Sawmill Needs 3 Phase Power

I move the phase convertor and 400v transformer down to the work site. This is entertainment, not educational, don't do what I do, I don't do what I do, ever. Those dewalt bits I like - amzn.to/3zwx8ds

Clearing a Lot for my Dream Business

Time to clear a lot and bring in electricity for a dream business. It's literally a dream, a figment of my imagination, an intangible reckless abandon. Maybe I should just make digital products.... Nah...

Cutting and Grading Dirt for Driveway Turnaround
You’re doing a three phase rewire what it’s called a beef ground. It’s also known as the widow lead group around that stuff man you have your the first lead will be 120. The second lead will be less than 120 B phase and the third one will be 120 when you run across the meter across it. The one in the middle will be a little bit less than the other two and that’s how you get your three phase B phase ground three wires system old school in most cases in the old industry when they did that the entire building was the group was grounded to that lead When you do 43 phase, each phase has 120 and you have a grown from what I see you don’t have that so you gotta go with the ground
Wow you deserve way more subs. You’re making high quality content so it won’t take long
Get that walnut out and vote for a even bigger nut! #KumallovaHarris2024
cool to see the project, man
How to bend and break your tractor
"How to potentially bend and break your tractor". Slowly does it in soft soil, really effective with those digging teeth.
@@theoloaksure, but others may push it too far, which is win for kioti, however
I want to do mine is it plug n play what else do I need to swap ?
Keep watching the series. You need everything. Tons of work.
Nice job!
Greatings from Indiana, cool series brother ... I have done a couple 7.3 swaps and a 6.0 delete with a 7.3. taking the turbo off gives you tons more room. I would've done new up pipes while it was out tho. Keep up the good work
Turbo off is way to go. I premeditated your comment on the up pipes. New ones in, somehow didn’t make the edit. Thank you!
Thanks for being brave and sharing a fail. I’d recommend concreting 3 ft of the post itself into the ground, if gate is super heavy look into H braces for gate lean support. Good luck on your journey! Blessings!
Stay tuned, new posts are indeed grounded in the earth.
Trying hard to find a good donor truck for my 7.3 swap, my current truck has a 5.4 2v with the zf6 manual trans. These videos are gonna be a huge help!
Very hard to find what you need! The zf6 bellhousing for 5.4 is going to be different first of all. The 7.3 with transmission sits back further, so you'll need a shorter driveshaft. The dash and engine harness is a full swap. The body wiring may be different, mine was/is. It's hard to say it's worth it man, but I'm a stubborn guy. Good luck!
@@theoloakYeah I’m expecting this to be quite the project, but in the end she’ll probably last quite a while
Thinking about doing this with my 5.4 triton since I have a good body and a zf6
Awesome truck
I worked at a flagship state university years ago. The van they gave me to get to my work sites only had brakes on the front wheels because they didn't want to pay the auto shop to put new shoes on the back. But they only put tires with tread on the back, because those were the drive wheels, again, because they didn't want to pay the auto shop's in-house charge for a couple new tires. Needless to say, this made winter driving extra treacherous.
Was their football program well funded? lol. That’s crazy. Glad you survived it!
@@theoloak - I'm sure it wasn't underfunded, but it was almost never a well performing program, which they didn't really seem to mind, as they wanted to focus more on academic research (also read that: you miserable students just give us your money and shut up.) There's a much larger state school to the south that has a HUGE football program, their games regularly are on national sports news. I'm sure you know them, their field is bright blue.
take a candle and hold it to the hot bolt and let the wax go into the threads... works like a charm
I’ll have to try that. Thanks
Can’t be tight if its a liquid
I've done that just to have what I was working on pop out of the vice and have to start over. Then chase the threads with a bottom tap
It's always super satisfying to see heat beat rust. If you can't use the torch directly on the part, induction heating also works fine.
I'd love an induction heater, almost witchcraft to see that magnetic field make steel red hot.
Nice dually
I wouldn’t use that transmission as the gearing and bell housing is different
Bro... 4R100 off another 7.3.
@@theoloak oh ok
Nice work man
Hey don't have to pull the dash. You can use your gas harness. Just wire in your pedal and cluster.
@@crashbrandon10 I’d pull the dash it’s just easier to put the diesel one

story of my life. 12 projects and squirrel from.one to another every weekend
When people ask me what it’s like having 8 vehicles I tell them it’s more stressful than you’d think but it’s a nice way to keep busy
Are you swapping over the PCM or how are you dealing with that?
Yes, full wiring and swap as well. A full donor truck is needed for sure. I'll be honest, it's a lottta work. Next video soon.
Add about 15 more and you can catch a glimsp of me....🙄😬
Story of my life. I call it project tetris.
My life summed up
In the exact same boat I feel your pain... It'll be awesome when you're done though
So 1990s dually wheels will fit my truck Nice
Welll, maybe, the dually wheels are same lug pattern, but different shape(deep) My 01 had 235/85R16's, so did my 1990, so I tried swapping at the shop so I didn't have to buy a new tire yet.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ajahahahahahahah I'm dying by the sigh 😅 at the end 😂
Feel my pain... lol
It was way to thick to even try that shot
You're not the first person to say that watching it.... but... it the camera angle was very low. It was green briar, but not wooded brush at all. First shot peppered him, I just hit him low in the neck, tough birds!
Should have put that extension turned the drive shaft till the ratchet was on the ground and just spun the driveshaft
I like...
Nice job
Thank you
I have been there a time or 10!!😂😂
What a hunt! And a great bird. Also, just realized I accidentally stole the hat you're wearing in this video yesterday... whoops 😂. I'll get it back to you
Yeah, I guess you’re have to comeback out. lol.
Great video! Congrats Man 🦃
Thanks brother
Awesome 👏 I swapped my gas 460 to a 7.3 out of a 96. Great video! Looking forward to the next.
Great story! love it!
Hell yeah good work
How does it pass inspection? Or don’t it matter in your state.
Doesn't matter here..... for now.
Swap the gauge clusters
Yep, was considering a whole dash swap, but we'll see. Thanks!
I need more of these
Hell yeah
Nice work! always wanted to see a triton to powerstroke swap
