      @@tyngchinchillachang838 i think it’s mostly a no-name thing. I doubt that it is still available. Just look for a usb-endoscope with the desired cable length. Newer models probably have a much better resolution anyway. Generally I would recommend the fishing cam from eyoyo or any other brand. There you get an entire system with a cable with 30 to 50 m length (100‘ to 150‘)

      @@renewable8051 you have to get a fixed system. An underwater camera with cable. Or - if available - a waterproof and pressure tight case to allow an auxiliary cable to be connected to your camera. The plug into pc or an above-water transmitter is a matter of software which has to be compatible with the camera system.

      Ja das geht: im Idealfall so, dass möglichst alle Stöße auf den Sparren liegen um mind. alle 20 cm eine Schraube verbaut wird.

      Everything is possible. But be aware of the weight and balance. No to mention the limited space on the frame.

    I thought the painting wasn't quite as precise as it might have been, but the construction and rigging were outstanding. As was the incredibly complex lighting... Much more ambitious than mine, so far! My own ones I do in sections, so the fo'castle, poop deck of a galleon, etc., have to be put in after the hull (as otherwise the ship won't fit into the bottle) which makes the construction quite fun! My next project is a Roman galley -- so I have oars as well as a mast, bowsprit and sails to think about! (Wish me luck: I'll need it!)

      Hervorragende Frage, die schon öfters aufgekommen ist. Nein, auf keinen Fall. Beim Stahl gibt es ein ganz großes Problem, was nicht so einfach zu lösen/berechnen ist: Biegedrillknickversagen. (Ewig langes Wort; auf Englisch einfach: „buckling“) Der einfache Biegeknicknachweis (wie hier im Video) wird beim Stahl natürlich genauso geführt, wie beim Holz (max. Moment geteilt durch das Widerstandsmomet). Bei sehr leichten Konstruktionen wo man für die reine Tragfähigkeit mit einem sehr schmalen (billigen) Stahlträger auskäme, ist das maßgebende Problem die Schlankheit. Und das wiederum führt zu einem deutlich stärkerem Träger oder zu zusätzlichen Einbauten, welche das Biegedrillen verhindern. Kurz und knapp: es ist einfach zu komplex und aufwändig, um es in ein 20 Minuten UA-cam ausreichend zu behandeln. Hoffe das hilft weiter. 😀🙋🏼‍♂️

    Echt Klasse erklärt, auch für Laien wie mich. Wir planen gerade unseren Carport und möchten dem Statiker dann gerne unsere Rechnung zeigen. Mal sehen, ob wir das mit deiner Hilfe richtig machen. Nur eine Frage: Wir möchten auf dem Dach eine extensive Begrünung. Deren Gewicht wird mit bis zu 150 kg/m² angegeben. Ab Minute 9 sagst du, das Gewicht der Begrünung muss bei der Ermittlung des Gewichts addiert werden. Du addierst aber kg/m und ich habe das Gewicht der Begrünung in kb/m². Ich berechne das dann so wie die Dachhaut, also geteilt durch den Trägerabstand, korrekt? Also ~ 120 kg / m ...

      Absolut richtig, nur nicht geteilt durch den Abstand sondern mal. Aber ich sehe, dass Ihr das richtig gemacht habt: 1,5 kN / m^2 x 0,8 m = 1,20 kN/m. 😀👍🏻

      @@agermangineer Ja, klar, falsch aufgeschrieben :-) Danke für die Korrektur. Wir haben nun mit der Dachbegrünung einen Wert von 2,85 kN / cm berechnet, was über die 1,66 kN / cm für Nadelholz rausgeht. D.h. wir wählen nun die Balkenstärke, -abstände, Maße und Auflage der Begrünung so, dass das passt. Wenn wir nun kein Nadelholz nehmen, wo finde ich die S10 C24 Werte anderer Holzarten?

      @@tomglasauerden rechnerischen Widerstandswert von Holz zu bestimmen ist kompliziert. Deshalb hab ich das bewusst pauschal gemacht, damit das Video unter 1 Stunde bleibt. Es stimmt zwar, dass es bessere Holzarten gibt, aber ich wüsste gar nicht wo ich die herholen sollte, weil im Bauwesen grundsätzlich C24 verwendet wird. Von daher: besser die Konstruktion verstärken. Allgemein ist Laubholz natürlich stabiler. Aber auch hier gibt es Unterschiede - das bedeutet, dass Eiche mit D24 mit C24 Nadelholz gleichzusetzen ist. Sollte man aber tatsächlich Laubholz mit D30 (mit entsprechendem Zertifikat) bekommen, kann man grundsätzlich den hier genannten Widerstand um ca. 20% erhöhen. 😉 Also… machbar schon, aber wissen was zu beachten ist.

      @@agermangineer Verstanden. Also verstärken. Danke 🙂 Nach meinem Verständnis macht die Verstärkung in der Höhe der Träger am meisten Sinn, oder? Mit Dachbegrünung würde zumindest der Wert von 1,66 nie erreicht. Bei einer Erhöhung der Breite x Höhe auf 10 cm x 24 cm passt das.

    Hallo ist zwar schon älter das Video aber ich hätte eine Frage zu der Endoscopekamera. Die ist doch mit USB oder? Wie funktioniert das mit dem langen Kabel?

      Yep, entweder direkt an einen PC oder per Handy über den WLAN Transceiver. Ganz simple Technik

    What sizes were the metal mountings you used to mount the motor housings to the frame?

      2 cm inner diameter. Same as the frame. The flanges are as big as they come…

    great project, i wonder what if you just install the bilgepump (not reassembly by other propeller). Will the thrust just same or weaker or maybe stronger?

      Inside the pump is just a little pelton turbine. Meaning you have very little thrust: forward you have water exiting a hole and reverse… suction into a hole - no thrust and a bit of thrust through the pump intake… going into a different direction. So: I wouldn’t recommend it. 😀🙋🏼‍♂️

      oh i see@@agermangineer , i want to make sea scooter. Is it recommended use this type of bilge pump for cheap and simple project? maybe need more than two of them 😁

      @@imacoid well, if you use one for each direction (forward only) and if you have a good power supply with a short tether you will be able to operate it. A colleague of mine did that to steer a small buoy.

      @@imacoid no 12 volt is correct. The question is, can the power source handle several Amperes? And yes, a good cable is not too thin.

      Die Sache hat einen Haken: Stahl hat eine Form des Versagens, welche man nicht mal eben so mit ein paar einfachen Faustformeln berechnen kann. Von daher eignet sich das nicht für ein DIY Heimwerker-Video. Sorry.
