Hi, are you talking about the back rest? If yes then those backrests on these karts wont rly affect laptime as these karts only reach around 80 kmh, there is a bit of drag caused by it but not allot. If it was a faster kart then yes the backrest would affect lap time as you would be much slower on the straight. And also the karts they are currently using at the Dubai Kartdrome are CRG karts, they are meant for the outdoor track. The ones from my videos were Sodi Karts.

@@haroonofficial4have you been to al ain circuit? The rd1 elite karts require assessment from the race director and I was wondering how they will assess me for rd1 elite karts? Any tips please

@@roflmaster Hi, ive been to Al ain Track but i drove the Rotax DD2 There, so im not sure about the RD1 elite karts. Im guessing they will need you to get a specific lap time, and also you need to be a smooth driver and not make that many mistakes, you can also join the group in the description to talk more about karting.

If you want to drive the rental rotax like in this video, then you need to be 16 years old or more, in order to do it you need to go to the kart track and ask to do the rx250, but im not sure if they still have it

@@haroonofficial4hey I just inquired about the rmax and they do have it, but in your opinion would it be better to travel to rak track and use their rx250 with iame ka100 or go to dubai kartdrome. Rak track is only charging 175 aed

@@roflmaster Hi, both tracks are very good, i have only tried and the rx250 at dubai kartdrome and not the Ka100 at rak, i believe they are very similar in power, so it rly depends on which track you want to try more. With rak track you can use the ka100 at nightime when the weather is nicer, however the rx250 at dubai kartdrome can only be used on school days in the morning when the weather is hotter. For me i prefer RAK for 2 stroke karts, and dubai kartdrome for 4 stroke rental karts.

Hi, you can rent one out from a team, depending on what track you want to use there is different teams. They do require you to have some prior experience in a two stroke kart or have a fast enough time in arrive and drive karts. The team i went with was AK karting.

@@kishore715 Hi there, it depends which kart you use, the kart used in this video is a rotax rental, it costs 250 aed for a 15 minute session and they only allow people to use it if the kart track isn't busy with arrive and drive. If you were referring to arrive and drive karts like in my previous videos then those cost 140 aed for a 15 minute session. I think its the same price throughout the day, and i think there are some offers on Mondays but I'm not too sure, you can check their Instagram for more details on offers and their website for sessions.

A good lap time with the normal rental kart would be around a 1.12 or lower, but 1.16 to 1.12 is still very good timings to get. Even if you get above 1.16, don't worry, every one has to start from some where, you will always get better the more and more you go. Hi, 1:14 is not bad at all. When it comes to braking, you have to brake as late as possible and trying your best to have the most speed through each corner. When braking make sure not to use 100% brake pedal as this will lock up your tires and cause your lap time to be slower, so use 50 to 60% brakes, where your on the limits of locking up your tire. If you join my discord server then i can give you many tips on how to get a faster lap time and also send you a picture of the track map with the racing line and show you where exactly you need to brake.

omfg i went karting yesterday for the first time in my life and this corner gave me nightmares. I crashed into the tire barrier 3 times and was even stopped by the marshals twice. Second time the guy was like "these karts are not free you know"💀💀

I dont actually know when my fastest laptime was but during this session i was actually given a kart which actually needed service soon and it affected my time. One of the problems was that i had really worn out tires which means there was barely any grip. The kart had something wrong with the engine as it was limiting power for some reason but not by allot. If i had a fresh kart i would say a 1.04.00 is very possible

Hello. I am not a part of a team at the autodrome. If you want to join the academy for dubai kartdrome then you will need to go there and sign up for it. Or if you want to join teams that race in rotax or x30 you need to go to their website and contact them. I suggest if you are a new driver and would like to learn to race then go onto the dubai kartdrome website and research about the academy they have there.

Thank you :), for turn 2 you need to use the brake around a few meters before the rumble strip. But be careful not to lock up your tires as you could go off as you are carrying the most speed through turn 1 into turn 2. So push the brake down enough for it to slow you down but try your best not to lock up the tires. Dw if they do lock up a tiny bit

@@haroonofficial4 Jesus, that's fast. I don't go often. I'm only visiting and I went yesterday. I got a 1:18 which I thought was good. But seeing this video I'm probably going to go again before I leave where I'll really try to push the car. Also good for u that ur that good, I always thought that people had like a custom kart but my bad.

Thank you :). To cut down on those few seconds, make sure to push the limits like keep your foot on the accelerator through some corners and try use up as much track as possible. Also try not to put the much steering input as that will cause allot of friction with the ground and you will lose time. So basically what i mean is that be smooth with the steering wheel. Another thing is your breaking, make sure to never push the break all the way because that will lock up your tires and you will slow down slower so make sure to press the break down and dont lock up the tires. So like 60 percent breakes but if you can put more without locking up the tires than great. Dont worry if you lock them up a tiny bit

@@haroonofficial4 for me I feel i have maximized on all points but I do feel the thing holding me back is breaking points/turn in points and general racing line. I feel watching your video over and over again will help cut down those seconds. Sunday 50% off sessions will make it easier to spam laps ahaha

@@caspercarz That is brilliant, you are nearly there. Remember to use as much track as possible and brake as late as you can, and hopefully one day you will get into the 1.09s and not only the 1.10s.

During this session 7 of the laps were in the 1.09 s but I never knew which lap I got the best lap on. But I uploaded this lap because it looked the cleanest. If you want the next time I make a video I will show the timing sheet

You have to break for some corners and just lift on some corners to get the kart turned

@@haroonplays3389I have been to the kart autodrome for the first time on thursday, did a 1.12 with the kart 41. Mate I have the feeling that I had no laptime left on the track XD !! Dont know how I could gain 2 full seconds

@@scottbranch1185 There are many ways to shave off those 2 seconds. The first one is to barely put any steering input in when turning around fast corners, the reason for this is because there will be less scrub and your kart will glide around the corner. The second one is if maybe you are breaking a bit too much and every lap you can try to push the limits and break a bit later. Note that you should not push the breaks fully to the ground as that will lock up the tires and you will not slow down as much, and you should try to press the break a bit before it starts to lock up. When the tires lock up it breaks traction and there ain't a lot of friction slowing you down compared to a more linear brake. For some corners try to use up as much curb/ apex as you can to cut down on your time. At a large amount of the corners you don't need to lift, just hold the throttle down to the ground and trust that the kart will stick. You can repeat the video a few times and listen to where the engine cuts out (not applying a lot of power) and where the sound stays constant meaning i am holding the power down
