    Big thanks for the clear video! My fault ended up being the heat pump connection leaking, but your video was simple to follow, and enabled me to open up the front and get the water out, and clean up all the seals. Was easy then to see the flood spurting from the RHS. Taking off that RHS panel I removed, cleaned up (dried mostly), and connected it back up. Two full cycles through and looking good so far. Thanks again!

    So how do you reset the machine (mine is a bisch too)? I cleaned the water out plugged back in and still e15 on the screen. I took the switch out again (so its not on top of the styrofoam disk) and it still gives e15. The machine was unplugged for abt 30 mins. What do I do to clear that error?

    Had the E25 error - Pump was not jammed and rotated freely 😬 So I removed it and found a blockage just beyond the pump which I found by pushing a small long rodding brush down the pump....... MISTAKE !!!!! 😫Cleared the blockage, but the water in the drain pipe flowed back into the washer!!!!! 😱 Hence the E25 error. I should have put a sponge in there to collect the water. However, I managed to get the water out using a big syringe and did not have to remove the sensor switch. 😀

    Hi Phil, Which type of wood would be economical without compromising on quality? I see you used Iroko which is what I was thinking of using but wondering on the cost.(I have a bench, two chairs and a table)

    • @NowFixit
      @NowFixit 13 днів тому

      Hi, if you want hardwood, the Iroko is one of the most affordable choices. Softwood is a lot cheaper and can look really nice but won’t last anywhere near as long unless you ensure you protect the wood. Bench slat packs are quite expensive, if you have the equipment or know someone that has a table saw and a planer, you might be able to buy wood more cheaply that then needs to be cut to size. Hope that helps! Cheers, Phil

    Another successful repair here! Siemens IQ300 threw the dreaded E15 error. I followed your guide and it is up and running again! A word of advice for the readers, be quite careful when removing the screws holding the front cover. When putting it back on I noticed that I had stripped the hole for one of the screws. No big deal since it holds up nicely with "only" five screws. I guess I had too much torque on my screwdriver.

    I actually tilted the machine more than 45 degrees, got all the water out without opening it up, was able to operate the cycles normally, and waited 2-3 days before opening as per your expert instructions. Looks like all the water went out by tilting itself, but maybe in my case there wasn't that much water anyway. Sorted thanks, the door on mine was attached to a fitted kitchen door panel, the centre screw of the 3 each side of the door is longer and screws into the wooden door panel. Also you had to-remove the top screw each side of the control panel again these were longer and screwed into the wooden panel. This allowed the removal of the fitted wooden panel and then allowed you to lift off the door as per your video.

    This happens to me often so I know why my dishwasher shows error message , because usually i add few drops of fairly washing up liquid and sometimes it gets too foamy where it overflows, anyhow over the time I found a easier solution to solve the error code. So if you are sure that the leakage is through the door, unplug first then tilted the dishwasher to 35 degrees , allow all the water to flow out, it takes me few minutes , plug it back on and the error message will be turned off by itself . So perhaps you could try these steps next time .

    Where did you get the replacement wood slats?

      Hi, I bought it from eBay, you can buy slat kits. Measure your slats (sometimes you have one or two narrower slats) and choose the wood type you want and you will find a lot of kits on EBay. I was actually going to plane down my own wooden slats but was short of time to get it done before Christmas… Hope that helps! Thanks, Phil

    Absolutely A1 video. Thank you so much! Problem fixed within an hour thanks to your detailed video (and I'm not a particularly keen or confident DIY'er 😁). Now just got to retrain the family on how to load the dishwasher to ensure the door always shuts and seals properly as that was the cause of my E15 - that's not going to be as easy a job though. Thanks again!!

    Thank you so much for this video, I was so close to buying a new dish washer for 500 euros but turns out there was just a little water in the machine because of my kids playing with water that got into it.
