@@SycAamore quesada area is nice. i went there last week to look for an house. but there is nothing going on in the area around it. so pretty boring. same with orihuele costa, altough that's a tad bit closer to the beach

You are confusing visa and investor residency. If you buy a property worth 500,000+ euros after getting a "golden visa", you can get an investor residency. To get the place in governmental school you should bring to ayuntamiento: passport of your children and yours, certificate of registration in Spain (they will choose the school for you based on your address), SIP card for kid or private insurance, filled up the form that you will get right in ayuntamiento. You DON’T need Spanish residency to get the place in school. In state school are also NO fees, only payments for lunches if your kids will eat there. Unfortunately, we don’t deal with student visas.
