Loved the video and the detailed walk through. Saves a ton of time for others on the same path. Thank you for building this informative content.
Great video+explanation+presentation! Thank you for sharing! Well done mate - NEW SUB 🙏🏻
Thank you for the Video. I did the steps as you mentioned on Windows 11 Enterprise. But i am getting below error. - All potential subnets '192.168.0.0' to '192.168.255.0' overlap with existing subnets of the local interfaces. Please provide a valid subnet.
Thank you for informative video. I have a question about: Is it compatible with Raspberry Pi 4B 8 GB?🎉
@@tuncfreeman sadly not... Pi5 only as it needs the NVMe connector...
it looks like we need to be doing lots of videos for all the updates
Do you know a way to get rid of the raspberry flat camera cable? Would it be possible to connect the camera via USB with a longer cable?
Thank you 🎉 Just got a pi 5 & using a 3.2 gen USB 2x1 M.2 NVMe @ 256 GB it flows and super smooth only use SD card on my Nano unit. The Cana kit 45 watt is much better option 4 power. 🎉 thanks again 🎉
@@jasonpocaro2730 so happy I could help! Thanks!
i recently got a pi5 for my birthday! thanks for the setup tutorial, cant wait until i order some other parts to try out some projects
@@theguestdev can't wait to see what you make!
Is there any way to do this without using esp32 gpio pins?
@@skrame01 not that I'm aware of no sadly...
Although, if you use something like nanoFramework you can set software breakpoints etc...
I have a Raspberry Pi 5/8GB board with an AI Kit installed with an Arducam 16MP AF camera. I am working on setting my second Pi 5 up the same way. I am building a small AI Cluster. I also want to see if I can add two AI Kits to a single Pi. The Hailo 8 (not L) is compatible with the AI Kit for 26 TOPs total per module. I aim to have a 52 TOPS Pi 5 system and I hope it works out.
Mate, really great, educational, and interesting video! Could you show the next step? For example, how to extract the output in the form of a CSV or something similar, to use the information to find out how many people pass by the camera and at what time, or how many cyclists, etc using Python?
escape room, posing to advance and/or showing objects in the right order, would need some text riddle to inform the player(s), "walk like an egyptian', pretend to be Bond (need a toy gun)
Now I need to choose whether I buy this or the AI camera…. Or both!
@@carlcodes8422 both obviously! Ha
This is cool! I’d be curious to see if we can pass that metadata to any other apps so I can call these without needing the official apps. Need to dig more into it. Darn it, I’m really just going to have to buy one 😂😂
@@carlcodes8422 I think there's some python examples to play with!
My pi5 has been sat in its box too long, time to break it out!
@@carlcodes8422 hell yeah it is!
This video is great, I hope Peter is doing great
Hi, Great video Peter. Could you include some information about the role assignment required to deploy IoT operations?
@@bindurao3379 Sure! From the docs... "At a minimum, have Contributor permissions in your Azure subscription. Depending on the deployment feature flag status you select, you might also need Microsoft/Authorization/roleAssignments/write permissions for the resource group that contains your Arc-enabled Kubernetes cluster"... learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-operations/deploy-iot-ops/howto-deploy-iot-operations#prerequisites
Hope that helps!
I get error for aio-opc-asset-discovery, gets into CrashLoopBackOff. I see open issue on GitHub, no solution yet. Any idea how can issue be resolved?
Hey Peter, great videos! Considering azure iot operations is in preview, what would you recommend for someone looking to get opc data into azure/powerBI in a production environment right now?
IoT Edge is likely the best solution... My great friend Sander Van de Velde has written a blog post about that... sandervandevelde.wordpress.com/2018/11/06/getting-started-with-opc-ua-on-azure-iot-edge/
Awesome Stuff, Need to get in on the Action
Thanks Samuel! And 100% you do!
Thank you for your videos
Hi, Great video peter, i was wondering if we can manipulate ranges of data in PLC simulator. As if now it is just incremental by default. 2.Is there any preferred virtual machine in azure to support this quickstart, codespaces are great but they have certain limitations.
Thanks! I'll come back to you with some answers ASAP!

can uno app run on a headless linux on rpi?
In theory it could, but there are better options out there. The purpose of Uno is to build cross platform apps leveraging C#(.Net) "AND" UWP or WinUI3 UI systems. If you just need the c#(.Net) side of things, the .Net SDK already supports Linux targets.
Thank you, this was a great run through of the tutorial
A small part of me was expecting a different Jason Alexander.
Whats the point of a pre order on the day of release when you can just walk in to a shop and buy one typical.
I guess so long as you can get yourself to Cambridge and grab one before they sell out eh!
So helpful! Thanks!
Cheers!
This is a great overview FT232H. I’ve never tried digging that deep into one of these and now I feel like I have a good guide. Thanks, Shawty!
Your more than welcome Shawn, glad you enjoyed it. I'll be covering a lot more subjects like this on "Shawtys Workshop" here on YT, just as soon as I get time to shoot some video. Right now I have loads of bits of footage, but none of it is coherently been put together into a single video 🙂feel free to hit me up on twitter/linked-in or facebook if I can answer any questions you have.
how where you able to get the zip file folder at timestamp (8:07)
Do you mean the link to the ADT explorer tool? These days you can use the Azure hosted ADT explorer tool... docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/digital-twins/quickstart-azure-digital-twins-explorer#open-instance-in-azure-digital-twins-explorer
The ESP32-C3 (Single Risc-V Core) shows it has JTAG/USB support, but can it also be debugged using PlatformIO and even VSCode? Or would the C3 need to be flashed with something that enables SWD debugging? BTW, in terms of debugging, any thoughts between VSCode and Visual Studio + VisualGDB ?
A lot of great insights, great to benefit from his vaste experience!
Thank you : )
0:39 black ball was moved, ref misatke. no doubt
Thank you!
i tried to follow you but I just couldn't keep up....too scattered.
why can't connect (error) ADT explore with azure digital twinn hostname, how to solve
You'll need to make sure you've set up the correct permissions... This guide should help... docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/digital-twins/how-to-set-up-instance-portal#set-up-user-access-permissions
Also, before you start the application... Try running 'az login' first...
@@pete_codes what if I directly open ADT explorer in microsoft azure (without going through npm)
hello my blazor webassembly project is on linux I want to publish can you help me
This video was great. Thanks for sharing.
You can see the black ball move even without slow motion.
I have excellent eyesight and at a quarter speed it won't say the cue ball didn't hit the black but there's no doubt the black stays exactly where it was.
it hit
Hi sir! I got a error message 404 when i upload a model.Any ideas?docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/327644/coding-with-the-azure-digital-twins-apis-tutorial-1.html
Actually, as much as originally I was skeptical, you can see the black ball move very slightly on impact. You can see the reflection on the black budge. It just touched the black then the cueball settled back a fraction with the nap of the cloth. The ref made the best decision he could but he didn't see it clearly and neither did the cameras. They also didn't take the time to really analyse the footage carefully in the heat of the moment.
I miss these days
Thanks for publishing this video. I am trying to do precisely what it is aimed at. I have also been reading your guides and tried your batch scripts. They are a great help. If you are not adverse to feedback on how to improve the video, then please read on: It is hard to see the URLs of the webpages you show, as your browser address bar is obscured by the video's title when the video is paused or the UA-cam video controls pop up. Could you maybe show the urls in an overlay for a few seconds? Also, in a number of places you are trying to remember how you did something before. I know it is a live recording, but it would run more smoothly if you worked out all the steps beforehand and wrote them into a script that you could follow when recording your video. It would also make the video a bit shorter. Thanks again for all your help.
