For some reason, I managed to get one of each of the Snailiens and two of the ticks. The shells were the best thing about them to be quite honest. You could flex the shell and a lot of the time, it wouldn't pop off right away. My brother discovered that they make great landmines when you're walking around barefoot in the dark. Despite being rubber, they snap like nobody's business. On a bare foot, it can hurt worse than a Lego brick.

I think your pretty underrated. Just my thought.

I think these are awesome. The names are super creative and ALL have some form of “Barf”….The Dracula Blurp is actually “Heave” not “Have”…not being a stickler just that He’s my fav of the lot. And his name is very clever..Designers must have been saying, “if we did a Dracula…what the hell can he puke up???”…Not just blood but a Heart!!… “Heave a Heart”!! 😂😮I like the big cards and the graphics too. I couldn't remember what these were called for years and years and years- I had tried searching them so many times and all I could remember was. Toy-tiny things-named after presidents...today I found them by searching popper toy alien presidents and here they are! Thought it was a fever dream! I remember mine fondly!

Me and my sister owned all except the leader of the tics (I would remember that bad ass white with pink highlights mantis looking mini) never saw the commercial so that was a cool add in. Amazing the rubber poppers still function without cracking...it is a dense rubber. I still own them..they were fun and awesome. Can't recall the comic books and can guarantee the vehicles didn't come out because I would definitely own that awesomeness. I know these came out around the time the first Jurassic park movie..because my mom took me to see the movie and then stop by the toys r us and that's where I collected these guys. I'm glad for this video you shared alot I didn't know as a child or until now.

I definitely remember that commercial of the Blurpballs toys! I think of them now as the evolved form of Madballs or the long lost relative of the Madballs from the 80s! I listen to this commercial now and I just laugh my head off every time!

These were just a vague memory for me from when I was 5 years old. I saw them once in a shop but never owned any, so cool to finally find out what they were

I remember begging my mother for one of these when I was like 7. Then there was nickelodeon Smud.

I don't remember seing battle chariots in Canada in the 1980s at toys r us. I didn't have them with my set for sure.

I got the big box with the Zebra in the lot...as a kid for a birthday, it was brand new, 1988-89. I think I had between 30-50 with that gift dded to my previously owned ones. Early 2000s I had only 2-3 left after decades. Can't remember what happened with them. But now I got 22 in my rebuilt collection! Gotta catch them all. Not really into the versions with spheres, so the classics are those I want. And I want a japanese takara box for the transformers logo.

I got the full set of these from a trip to US in the 90s, from what I recall, quite certain it was the same lil comic/booklet for em all. Also those rubber popper things were always hard to use as a kid, the material was quite thick and strong.

Greek battle beasts are original. If you turn them back,they have the “hasbro-takara” logo. Greece made the exportation for Europe in 1987. The factory in Greece(El Greco), Made from the original molds,monochromatic battle beasts(beastformers)which called them -εξωγήινους τερατομαχους!
