Is there anyway possible to open up the fan blade cover to service the bearings of this particular motor ?

*This is a big sturdy vacuum cleaner without being too heavy🌼 **allabout.wiki/Hoover** I think it has 10x the suction power that my last vacuum had. Really great vacuum. I can't believe how much dog hair came up with the new vaccine even though I d vacuumed yesterday with the old one. Highly recommended.*

*Finally a vacuum built with me in mind🌼 **allabout.wiki/Hoover** Solidly built with a strong engine, at 18 pounds this engine almost pulls itself forward . Has nice bumpers to protect furniture. The foot operated "suction only button" allows me to vacuum those little area rugs without sucking them up! No more fighting with the hose because it has a lock and release button. The articulating duster gets top shelves with ease. Longer cord keeps me moving fast through a large farm house filled with dirt no more!*

Did anyone notice the new motor does not look the same as the old motor. I think they are called motor brushes - I don't know if they are encorporated on the inside of the motor now or what. Trying to replace mine now but I can tell the motors do not look the same.

Thanks so much! Very informative. For future videos, maybe don’t shoot in landscape mode so it’s easier to view.

Thanks to you and your video, I replaced the burned out motor in my Hoover Wind Tunnel Self-Propelled vacuum cleaner! My first vacuum cleaner repair. I paid a lot of money for this sucker and no way was I going to just throw it away. I took pictures at each stage so I could put it back together the same way. Eureka, it runs like new!

Thanks for this! Have the same vacuum. How do you know if the motor is in fact bad? Can the motor be bad yet still run? Mine gradually lost suction and now whines like there is something clogged. I opened everything up, cleaned and found no clogs. Washed both filters. Suction is now a bit worse and the motor whines even higher. (Are those filters not to be washed??) Belt certainly needs to be replaced. It does not give off a typical bad motor smell. Thanks for anything you can provide. -SER

if the motor is loud then its probably on its way out, the loss of suction can be narrowed down to a few things such as a clogged fliter, clogged siclones and a dodgy motor. usually if a motor gives out or is giving out you will sometimes notice sparks. is there a popping noise when you use the vac? maybe try vacuuming off the filters in your machine or even replacing them, if the motor is still making the loud noise you described I would recommend replacing it.please note im only advising from my personal experiences with my parents machines and going off of research.

Self propelled model. I have never done a self propelled unit but I am looking at the diagram and it looks very similiar. You need to remove the top plastic cover to get to the motor mounts. Probably similiar to my instructions, but very hard to determine how self propelled mechanism engages with the motor once the cover is off.

If you are using Buchanan wire nuts, the recommendation for 1 #16 awg wire connected to another #16 awg wire is to use the small WT51 yellow wire nut. Check the table on the side of the packaging on the wire nuts.

Hello all, this is my first production. I am trying to figure out why I have the bands on the video. The format is 16 x 9 HD using Cyberlink Power Producer. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
