How much size does the fat grafting add? I just had a DIEP Flap with double mastectomy two weeks ago. I will have the revision surgery in December, if all goes as planned. I have one side that needs nipple reconstruction as well. Not sure what to expect on that end. I felt more pain than this patient in the chest area. I did immediate reconstruction though.

I’m super skinny and have mine under breast muscle for 9 years I want to exchange due to one sided capsular contraction My body fat is 16% but no doctor wants to do a en bloc claiming I am too skinny to remove all the capsule Since you guys have a lot of experience would you agree? Thank you for mentioning the drains, I am 2 days post op and I really hate the drains. My biggest problem with recovery is not the pain but the fact that I can't sleep and have the biggest migraine. Thank you for sharing your journey.

I had a flat closure done by my breast surgeon and it looks better than many pictures I've seen that had plastics involved. Very symmetrical.

I am having a double mastectomy on March 13 I am unclear as to what I want for my final look either flat or Implants. I am currently a 36 A/B if I don't do expanders right away am I able to still get a beautiful full breast roughly 360/390cc if I wait?

This has me in tears as I listen to what I've been experiencing and living with for SO MANY years. 😭😭😭 The severe brain fog and fatigue, even the tinnitus! It's been crippling! I developed allergies in my 40s when I've never been allergic to anything except latex my entire life. Sudden hypothyroidism after a strange bout of stomach issues with no sign previously of any problems. Chronic sinus infections, food intolerances with not having any before, wicked insomnia. I've gone Paleo and AIP with minimal improvement. I've even used the Max Gerson methods as much as possible with sone improvement but nothing was long lasting. Doctors think I'm a hypochondriac and I feel like no one can help me. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I hate not being the wife and mother my family deserves! 😭 I've had the same conversation with God and even met a lady in my church who had just had hers taken out. She talked to me about her symptoms and I couldn't believe how similar ours were. I've just been trying to figure out who to have my surgery with and how to afford it. I'm $43K in debt because I had to have my remaining teeth extracted and have implants put in because, with zero gum disease, my gums kept receding so quickly, that my dental work was failing and my teeth were becoming fragile.

Fungus in the capsule? Not sure I would believe that statement. How does fungus just grow inside on capsule. Seems like the whole capsule thing- (which is your own scar tissue)- is suggested to perhaps make $$13-25k more when just implants removed under local anesthesia is less expensive and very easy for them. Scientific studies have been done to conclude that the capsule is just your own scar tissue and- if not leaking/ruptured or recommended by doctor- does not have to be removed. Don't believe everything you read in comments or online. New data done by plastic surgeon groups has concluded that the implants themselves are what contributes to BII- not the capsule.

Save yourself and do not visit this woman she is a devil in sheep's clothing. Her attitude is so nasty. I'm sick of these immigrants and first generation coming over here thinking they're better and treating people like they're lower than them. Now, she has the nerve to be an Ohio House of Representative. People better be carefully who they vote into positions power. Something that was unnerving to me about her office is that she only had a representation of indian kids and babies. There were no pictures of white children. No pictures of black children, etc. That screams I only care about my own.

There seems to be a lot of varying information out there. I’ve seen physicians say it’s not possible to bring pec down to it’s original position, while others say it is. There are a lot of women out there, myself included, that have gotten/asked for pec reconstruction but still have issues. Is it difficult to bring the muscle down to its original position? Why do you think there is so much varying information? Can pec deformity actually be fixed?

I am going to have ex-implant surgery down also. I am curious to find out, I am having a electrical implant put in my body for bladder control. I am wondering if this could cause my body to reject it also. I don’t need any more problems.

love this video. watched it before i got my surgery and was more calm about it nnowing exactly what they do. im over a month post-op now and feeling better than i ever have. I hope every trans person that wants surgery is able to get it, its genuinely the most liberating thing i've ever felt. I feel like I can finally live a full life.

I have top surgery scars, but I'm a cisgender man. I just want to put that here for any trans guys who are worried about the scars, some cis men have them too, it shouldn't make it harder to pass.

Any possibility if the recalled textured saline implants removed in 2017 prior to the recall. Is there a possibility of contamination of the new gummy implants?

20 hrs post explant after 25 yrs saline implants. Only learned of BII couple months ago when my quality of life really declined rapidly. Im little sore and tired. No drains thank goodness. Implants were clear and no sign of leaks, but i still suffered from most every bii symptom.

I think it’s more than 10% get affected
