Besides injuries, the Milwaukee Bucks Bucks have been top 3 team in the entire NBA. Have they not? So who was initiating the offense for the Bucks? In 2022, Khris Middleton got injured and the Bucks overachieved. In 2023, Giannis only played 2 games in the playoffs. In 2021, Giannis didn't play a single game in the playoffs. And remember Khris Middleton too has played very few games since 2022. The Milwaukee Bucks don't need guards. The Bucks need l defenders.

What do better individual player means when you ain't the number 1 guy. It's who's the better fit with the team superstar that matters. That's Patrick Beverley not Dame. Dame style of play fits only as the number 1 option or the 6th man. This the same problem that happened with Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson that cut their careers short. They all good as the top dude but lack the impact of leading anything to a championship. But completely bad fit when surrounded by better players
