Love Vietnamese coffee, found 2 PHIN'S at a thrift-store for less than 3 euro total. best bargain I got in a while. only downside is that the included glass was a bit too small for my taste. since the PHINS I got is quite large, and looks to be more for 3-4 cups than 1-2 cups

I've been to both, and my heart will ALWAYS live in Vietnam. It's not just about the city or infrastructure, but the people within it. I found the kindness of the Vietnamese people to be like no other place in the world. I felt so safe as a woman traveling, and when I lost my passport on a boat (actually off of Danang), the people went out of their way to find it and bring it back to me in the next city I was in. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE, the type of kindness. It really stays with you... Anyway, Singapore can boast lights and tech, but it doesn't have Hoi An and all of their beautiful lanterns... So for me: it's ALWAYS Vietnam 🥰

Singapore has around 8 MRT lines and hundreds of stations. Where is the MRT in Danang? Singapore is the 3rd largest financial Centre in the world. Where is the financial Centre of Danang? Singapore had the 2nd largest port in the world in terms of tonnage and its new AI port is now building in progress - the Mega Tuas port. Singapore is building Terminal 5 and it will further cement the best airport in the world for decades ahead where is Danang's international ranking? Singapore's economy has transformed into a digital economy and is currently full steam ahead to becoming an AI economy. Vietnam is still manufacturing cheap stuff. Major vaccine brands had set up a vaccination factory to manufacture vaccines in Singapore is there one in Danang? Hyundai had set up a manufacturing plant in Singapore to set up high-tech manufacturing jobs in Singapore, Where is the hi-tech plant in Danang? The GDP per Capita of Singapore is at USD 87,880 while Danang's GDP per Capita is at USD 2,858.52 . A whopping 31 times difference. As much as I enjoy Danang and give a 5 start to Banahill, I cannot accept comparing Danang to Singapore. Even Bangkok city's infrastructure is better than Danang. Let alone Singapore. Sorry I am not putting down Danang and in fact it is really a good place to relax and one of the better city in Vietnam. But Singapore is at another level of category and totally not in the same league as Danang. I am sorry for the truth.

So I´m from Guatemala and recently i was for a week in Hanoi. I loved it... LOVED IT. Yes there are "things" that you may not like, however people were friendly, food was amazing. Yes there were "tourist" traps were i "fell" however not to a big scam if you are smart, sometimes they are only people trying to make a living so yeah, have a coffee at their place and theyll leave you alone. The noise thing is real, very real, the first night I wasnt able to sleep however i eventually just accepted i and well... it was part of the charm. THE ONLY thing that i didnt like was entering and leaving Vietnam at the airport. Security and migration did not "recognize" my passport, I realize being from a "central american" country made them hesitant, however for a moment i really didnt feel safe and it was only at airports. People didnt believe my country existed until they "googled" it? however once inside... amazing I would love to live there in the twilight of my life.
