You're very welcome!! I'm so glad to hear that!! ☺
rotating between multiple pillows is what's necessary for long term sustainability.
Do you mean to prolong the life of each pillow? Please tell me more, I'm curious!
@@movemedics no, I meant to provide the body with variety and prevent sort of RSI.
@@RadekPilich Thank you for clarifying. I totally agree we need movement variety though I don’t think this applies to sleeping. RSI is the result of prolonged excessive loading leading to tissue irritation and if persisted, then to subsequent tissue degradation. When we sleep, we are not doing anything repetitive nor are we loading any structures excessively. Where sleep is concerned I believe the best way is to simply sleep how you feel most comfortable and sleep lots!
How did you go? Which one was the most surprising? Comment and let's chat.
Have you been taught to push for Breath Support? Let others know so they know they are not alone in their struggles. 💜
hour after taking my medicine i learned that exercise for singers with asthma is "inhaler bicep curls". wasted my time
Thank you for watching. 💜
Fear mongering
As a health professional, it's my job to tell people what they NEED to hear, not what they want to hear. I stand by what I've said and I wish you well.
❤ love your energy
Thank you for watching!!! ☺
Thank you for this video it helps me. A lot and I'm a new dancer trying to learn coordination
It's my pleasure!!! Happy dancing. 🙂
😅 wow great mam
Hope it helps!
Mam, really you are so good at explaining complex topics.
Thank you! The time limit of short videos helps one stays succinct! 😁
Incredible, mam you made my day
It's my pleasure!
Hi, mam I am singer by profession. I have done harm by doing laryngeal massage on my own, harm in a sense that it feels that my voice box got distention while I was trying to release a mistaken tension. Please help me to cop this and I am not be able to visit you personally, because I am from Pakistan. It would be extreme favour if you could help me.
Hello Abdul, I'm so sorry to hear this. As much as I'd like to help, it is not possible for any health professional to provide responsible, ethical healthcare over the comment section of the internet. There’re also limitations to who we can formally offer our services to depending on the locations of the parties, it’s an insurance matter. I strongly suggest you visit a health professional in your local area for personalised healthcare. For voice matters, the first professional to see is always, always a speech pathologist. Google "speech pathologist, voice, your local area", find someone you like, book an appointment and go from there. Please make sure you seek help, it's always better to address any health concerns as soon as possible. All the best!
@@movemedics Thanks mam for responding me, I appreciate your effort for teaching us the most authentic treatments and suggestions mainly for vocals.
@@movemedics I would be very thankful, if you grant me some time on email. As I am not in a condition to find a health professional. I have not deformed but rather mistaken voice quality production and therefore going up and down by following youtube DIY. I would like to state my problem in sake of your suggestions.
is this video sponsored by blackroll or is this your real opinion?
As mentioned in the video, I purchased the pillows myself and this is my own opinion. We are still using these pillows now and they are working well. I even bought more pillow cases even though they are expensive! 😊
Do you do your own intra oral massage? How often do you do it? Let's share and learn from each other!
Need help refining your Priming Routine before singing? Check out our Telehealth Physio service here: movemedics.com.au/telehealth/
How long does it take to fix this?
That depends on many things- what contributing factors there are, how consistent and committed one can be to addressing the issue, how much flexibility there is regarding vocal load, various other individual factors... etc.
Got vocal health questions for our Voice Physio? Comment below.
Plz talk about relationship between nostril breathing and vocal cords and singing ability.I want some facts about that
That is very broad, are you able to be more specific?
@@movemedics I figured out that nose breathing in let's say 6 months enables your other breathing organs to work better like for example your diaphragm to work more properly.... I'm a singer and I'm trying to improve my body organs to sing without any pressure... I need to know more about nose breathing and how it changes your whole body ...I guess singing and nose breathing are very related to each other what's your opinion ?
