99-04 Honda Accord power steering pump removal and install
Bad camera man
Thanks for quick fix info
Help me fersher😈
Thank you! Perfect video! Don't forget to change the OUTLET o-ring (black in color at 3:14)), where the top part that is held by the TWO 10mm nuts. This is even if you replace with a new pump. Search online places for the OEM o-rings. There is also in INLET o-ring (red in color), but that should already be included in the new pump. Cover your belts and alternator and put a big rag under the power steering pump to prevent any power steering oil getting into the belt and the alternator.
Where does the inlet o ring go all the videos I find have the next generation angled inlet instead of the straight
I hate it when things get lagaly lol..
Yea bro
Do you have to bleed the power steering fluid?
If you're able to get the car on an incline... add the fluid and turn steering wheel from right to left until there's no more squealing from power steering. Both front wheels off the ground would be best
$$$free GAME$$$$
Did the hose were the clamp is split from the tip when you pulled it out to re install in the new pump??
I’m doing the same job but auto stores have a different style pump and can’t find the correct one
Surprised but just got mine off Amazon…
I knew in my mind there was a hack to do this I don't know why they want you to do a whole job when you trying to make it easy
Appreciate dog fr , u a real one fa this
Thanks for putting this idea out there - still was a little bit of a pain but it seems like it'd be easier than messing around with tearing out the wheel well liner
What is the clicking sound on the fan because my Chrysler 200 touring does the same sound and I wondered if you knew what it was. Thank you for this video it helped a lot.
99-04? Accord model is 2003-2007. A 99 and an 04 are two different generations... Can you do that? I have access to an older Accord and I have an 03 so I'm genuinely curious
I’m sure he meant 98-02
Shiii what about the the driver side my Shi is on dat side
I just lift up my fuse box and that’ll give me just enough room to reach where the light is. Still a pain in the ass tho, whoever created the design for this specific year and model fucked up badly lol
Thanks! A huge time saver. I did have a difficult time squeezing my hand in the space though.
Say thanks for posting. This really helped me get the job done.
Amen!!! This what I am talking about!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!! Amen!!! I am a woman!!! It shall be a wrappppp!!! Amen!!!
This was completely the most amazing video I never needed to watch
U BROKE IT'S DOWN! KOO
Door behind wheel much easier
Not all years have the access flap in the wheel well..2013 is one of them
wont work for the drivers side
You move the fuse box and air intake to get to the driver side headlight.
I’ve noticed people constantly saying to time all the pullies so the engine doesn’t blow. Does the power steering pump pully need to be timed/adjusted to be lined up with anything or no?
In this instance no timing has to be done. But if u listen to the video, the"tension bolt" had to be fiddled with a bit. Nothing too complicated if I understand your question correctly.
Stephen Irving yes I understood the tension part. I was referring more to like when you do a timing belt/water pump job how they explain the pullies have to be aligned a certain way for timing so the engine doesn’t damage or blow. I was just wondering if the power steering pully was one of them...but from your answer I assume it’s not and I should be completely fine to just replace the pump and tension the belt. I appreciate your reply.
This model es 98-02
That's was so much easier it was a pain getting In there but got it done in 20 mins.
Thanks for this video, it was what I used for my first diy repair. I felt like A badass getting it done by myself! Seriously thanks for getting to the point and listing the tools needed. Huge help!
Thank you sir for getting straight to the point and not trying to make your vid to long for ad revenue! Your getting a like from me
What about on the driver's side?
Stick your hand in there it's a tight fit but you can do it without taking anything apart
Great vlog!
Si quitas la manguera como lo has hecho te cargas la válvula antiretorno amigo
Just go tho the wheel well so much easyer then doing what u doing or taking off bumper
I did the wheel well it was a bitch. The panel is a nightmare to pull out and even worse getting it back into place
I went to a mechanic and he told me it'll cost $320.00 to get my steering pump replaced. I understand it cost for labor and parts but do you think that's too high of a cost for an east repair?
Absolutely overpriced. I gotta be honest with u... The reason these shops charge so much is due to their overhead and people's naivety. Please don't take offense to that as I truly mean no harm. All I'm saying is that in my humble opinion, UA-cam and a $50 tool set would save people thousands over the lifetime of a vehicle. I'll continue adding more videos of mechanic work and please don't hesitate to leave a comment or question about your vehicle. I'll be more than happy to help in any way I can
@@BennyFatFingerz no offense taken. I know how shops try to especially get over on women and people with money. Thats the reason i looked the video up on youtube to see how much work is put in for replacing the pump. I called by brother in law and he said he'll replace it for me for free. All i gotta do is buy the part(s). Thank you for your response.
@@BennyFatFingerz thank you dude, video helped a ton, I always love people like you who upload repair videos on youtube. its where I learned how to fix cars over the years.
Awsome Job so simple explanation and easy process Am going to give it a try my safe now👍🏻GoD Bless
I hope u make it happen. Glad I could help
Do you know what size the 10 mm bolts are I had a leak went in to change it Nd broke em need help asf
Did you replace the bolt on pulley?
I re-used the tension bolt. (Bolt with washer)
I mean the pulley that the belt goes on
Good detail. Thanks for specifying the millimeter sizes on the bolts.
I agree! Everybody doesn’t have a whole tool set available to them, and while it is cheaper in the long run to buy a whole set, sometimes you just have to buy just what you need to get that specific task done. Knowing exactly which tools to get is very helpful
Fuck man invest in a camera or stop shacking made me nauseous!
BigPaco213 dam bro...wasn't that bad was it?...but ur right tho, probably should've had a tripod. My bad. More vids coming with better footage
thx for the video
Rodrick Smith it's all Good brotha. I'll be posting more vids of different vehicles as i just got my garage together. Stay posted and if you have any questions concerning your vehicle, lemme know and I'll try to help as much as possible

coming back better #TBest36
damn the clutch mistakes by me, gotta learn from them, that will make me better #36
Always gotta lead by example bro. .. mistakes are gonna happen, u just gotta keep them at a minimum above all else. Rather it's a bad shot because your feet weren't set, missing a wide open man, or bad defense. ..u gotta keep your slate clean by being responsible and consistent in everything u do on the court.
total beatdown
