This is a video about my experience running the New York City Marathon in 2022. It was my first race ever, and tons of fun the whole way.
Two months before the marathon, I suffered a knee injury that prevented me from running for 2-3 weeks. I was worried because I didn't have the training mileage that you'd need to feel confident to complete a marathon. My longest training run was a 15-miler, so anything after mile 15 was uncharted territory for me.
After my injury, I spent a lot of time focusing on things I could control: diet, mindset, preparation, mobility, leg strengthening, and stretching. I think these all helped a ton!
