A great question! There are only 3 brands that are currently working with BrainChild Production they are Reedin, F-One and Harlem. Interestingly, we have been informed that these will be the only brands to work with the Brainchild factory for the foreseeable future!

Yes kite construction is moving so quickly in recent years it's crazy right!! The cool thing is that in our view, Aluula definitely still has it's place and is a great fabric. It gives kites such rigidity - the downside is that it is still expensive so to have other construction options is great. The PROWELD combined with the HyperModel design is definitely worth trying as it responds so quickly to your inputs and creates a true high performance experience!

Very exciting the 11m will be great! We have thoroughly enjoyed the 9m :)

I can't even get going on my v10 11 meter edge in 16 knots. I'm 85 kg. 20 knots is when the 11 goes up.

Yeah we can understand where you are coming from! It was lighter than expected on the day of filming. For reference George is around 95KG and was on a 8m with around 22-26knots of wind. So there wasn't too much wind to play with. This is an interesting point that you make! As the newer big air kites are now much higher aspect, they generate less torque through the loop which enables some more technical manoeuvres. If you compare this to an Enduro, with a mid-aspect design the loop is slower but pulls slightly harder. This is really interesting to note when looking at the differences in what kites now offer. What is really fun about it, is that the loop with the Vortex is over and done really quickly, giving you plenty of time to consider and practice new moves like board-offs and rotations with plenty of control and time as your lines have more tension in comparison to something like the Enduro which usually has more slack in the lines after a more 'powerful' loop. Really love these kinds of discussions, we love talking about kites!

This is a really great question! Sadly, we haven't had the opportunity to test the Duotone Evo D/LAB. However, it would be very interesting to do so. As the Vortex has been designed from the ground up for KOTA specially with Aluula as the key component. This is interesting as most other Aluula models have been adapted from inline products such as the Evo SLS. This doesn't take away from the fact that the D/LAB Evo currently is the most decorated competition kite. We would love to put them together for comparison! If we are ever able to do this we will be sure to document this!

Hopefully it could be the beginning of a double loop journey! A long way to go, but this kite does make it much easier!! :D

Hey! Thank you it's a very interesting shape isn't it! The ION impact vests have 30 newtons of buoyancy, so we tend to say that they have a noticeable amount of buoyancy that will keep your head about the water - but we like to make it clear that they are not sold as buoyancy aids, but as Impact vests as in order to be inline with the bouyancy aid requirements floatation devices have to be at least 50 newtons :) We hope that this helps!

Hi there, the suit featured is a 5/4, 52/Large front zip and has been great for keeping warm in sea temperatures down to 6 to 7 degrees.

Hi Oliver, George wears a Large 5/4 Front Zip. We would recommend that you should stay warm enough in a Seek Select 5/4 as seen in the video. We use these suits into deep winter, where the water temperatures can reach 6 degrees. We would highly recommend it, if you are looking for a very warm suit ready for those winter sessions! :) If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask! :)

Hi Christoph - Of course! George is 6'1" in height and he weighs about 90KG. He wears a Large in all ION suits that he uses. We hope that this helps and if you would like any further help let us know!:)
