My Cursed Donkey Kong School Project from Freshman Year...
Yes, if you're wondering, there was a Donkey Kong energy drink, yes, I did pass on this assignment, and yes, you'll just waited weeks for a video on freaking Donkey Kong Jungle Juice.

Inside the Volcano (The Smurfs) Song Comparison from Every Version
Переглядів 214Місяць тому
Songs are showcased in order from worst to best in my personal opinion. Talk about a song going unnecessarily hard. Yup, it's another Song Comparison about The Smurfs, and again, this is only about the 8-bit game, not the 16-bit one so no SNES, Mega Drive, Mega CD, DOS, Windows and GBA. Also, yes, for some reason the NES version mixed all the song orders around, so in that version, this is The ...
The Bridge (The Smurfs) Song Comparison from Every Version

Songs are showcased in order from worst to best in my personal opinion. Here's a neat little novelty to hold you over while I'm still suffering through my schoolwork 🙄. The Smurfs, a shockingly good 8-bit platformer by Bit Managers. They also did another game by the same name on the SNES, Mega Drive, Mega CD, DOS, Windows and GBA, but it's different game with a different soundtrack, so you won'...
Lode Runner (IBM PCjr, 1983, Bronderbund)
Переглядів 872 місяці тому
Here's a showcase of both graphics modes in the old school computer game Lode Runner, the brainchild of Douglas E. Smith, which started life on the Apple ][, and from there, was ported to seemingly every system known to man, including the somewhat ill-fated IBM PCjr. Now, this is a port of the PC Booter version of the game, which makes sense, but it's not a very good port. You see, the PCjr all...
Why There's 2 Versions of Ms. Pac-Man on the NES and Which is Better?
Переглядів 6922 місяці тому
The long awaited sequel is finally here. Ms. Pac-Man is generally seen as an improvement over it's predecessor, and that thankfully also applies to the NES port of the game, or well one of them. Yeah, so there's two versions of this game on the NES for some reason, one by Tengen, and another by Namco? Which is better? Watch to find out. Dr. Mario (Windows, 2008, Techni Myoko)
Переглядів 3653 місяці тому
A bit of a random video, but got a Dr. Mario kick tonight, so figured why not. This is the unofficial Windows port from 2008, which doesn't seem to have any footage online currently. It was done by Techni Myoko, whom is a cool dude, and thankfully did a pretty good job on this port too. It's not perfect, the whole game feels a little floaty, the hard drop can be very finnicky and the MIDI music...

Why Pac-Man on the NES Is a Bad Game - 200 Sub Edit

Watch me get way too angry over the NES version of Pac-Man for nearly 8 minutes, but with much improved transitions, audio balancing, etc. Yup, this is essentially a director's cut of my last video, hopefully it will improve on the issue that myself and others had with the original. Here's another Song Comparison for ya'll, this time we're looking at Forest Frenzy, far from the most popular song in existence, but it's always been one of my personal favorites from the game. Unlike the spectrum 128k the 48k dont haves music
GBA is just the Arcade version, but heavily truncated. Pathetic!
was this originally powerpoint?
@@ActuallyBoomer nah, it was always on Google Slides
Nostalgia
For me Tengun is WAY better then the other one because of how much opinions there are and because its more accurate too the Arcade Edit: Commented this before watching the whole video but im glad you agree =)
"NES version is too hard" Yeah... no. The NES version is WAY easier for me
The Master System version is so bad. The other Master System songs were at least okay, but they butchered Block Town beyond belief.
I'd say that Jungle Steps is even worse personally. It legit sounds like its from an early MS-DOS game with CGA graphics, it's that bad.
You forgot the"GBA Version "
In the GBA version, this map has “Block Town” for its music.
@@nathangrove2820 I know..
My favorite is Genesis.
This is cool
I like the movies, but I've never played the game.

For Pac-Man Plus on the ColecoVision collection, highlight Pac-Man on the title screen and then press 7,5,8,7 on the second controller. That should unlock Pac-Man Plus.
Thanks for the help. I did already know this is how it was done, but played on a emulator, and at the time, didn't know enough about RetroArch to see what keys the buttons were mapped to.
A new song to stick around in my brain, thanks 👍 You love to see when the "worst" version is still really good. I do find it weird how the Game Boy one only has hi-hats for percussion, but the wavetable lead is amazing. And that NES version is very Follin-core 👌
I hate to be That Guy™ but that "spoon" controller for CD-i players was never meant to be used for games; it was meant to be used for *presentations*, as the CD-i was intended to be a larger multimedia platform. There were plenty of other official control devices for CD-i players, including standard game controllers and mice. You probably won't find any of them in current year, but they existed, and you were never expected to play a video game with the presentation controller. I know that's a pretty minor point in the video, but it's just another retro gaming misconception that is perpetually spread around the internet, and I wanted to let you know. Other than that, good video :P
@@TheTomatoWatcher no, you're fine. I already knew the CD-i has better controllers than the "spoon" but actually didn't know that controller wasn't made for games at all, so thanks for that info. Realistically, you'd never play any game with that controller, and I only mentioned it for comedic effect.
5:39 Possibly one of the best soundtracks to exist

First time im hearing of this, looks good. Love the midi music too, im a sucker for crunchy midi renditions of songs lol
Thanks for the comment! I added a download link to the description in case you want to check it out yourself.
I like the music from Java one more than most of the other versions. I think the instruments sound really cool, especially the deep beeping sound in the background.
Epic! But I just use those Game Gear to Master System "Romhacks"
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love Retro Pacman Games !
I grew up on the NES/Tengen Pacman and never knew there was an arcade version, so the memories of my environment and familiarity with the play mechanics make it my preference.
this is such a funny video good job
Damn really good video good job
Screamers are not funny. Some people get sick when they hear loud noises, please stop doing this, or I will just have to watch someone else.
Okay, so go watch someone else
This isn't his business, If he wants to do what he is doing, he will
If you think THESE are screamers, you wouldn't have survived the early days of UA-cam lmfao

@@Espartanicawhile i agree people should be allowed to do what ever with their videos, can we please stop the whole "just go watch/play something else" every time criticism is given?
Strangely enough, the Zx spectrum, MSX, C64, and other versions all had come out around the same time during '88 and still perplexes me on why the C64 port is the only 8-bit version that has a scroll to it and at least it's much better than the NES version graphically for better or for worse since they all have similar hardware.
“The NES version is way too hard.” No, no it’s not. The NES version is actually way easier than the arcade version. I am able to pass way more levels than I ever could in an arcade run. The NES version of any arcade game is just so much easier than the arcade for me.
It's just his opinion and skill he is probably more used to the Arcade Version
